This line of thinking is genuinely stupid. Like we don't exist in a vacuum. If you are not voting R, you are helping the Democrats (who want to kill you) win. It's just that simple. We get you want politics to be a fun game, and pretend its the 80s or something, but its not.

The more cooperation with ICE, the better your local metro's rent will be. Thus housing becomes cheaper, thus urban suburban prices have to go down, thus outer suburban prices go down, thus exburb prices go down, thus rural prices go down.

Fast food and restaurant inflation has been mostly self implemented. Fast food chains and restaurants saw Uber charging like 10% more and services fee and orders coming in crazy. It showed these companies that there were undercharging for their food. This has been happening since 2020ish. As long as consumers keep showing up why wouldn't you raise prices? Taco Bell is probably the best example. Basically known as "the cheap food" place, you went there because you were broke. They have significantly raised prices (probably because of the amount of Online Delivery App orders they saw) and their profits are up 65% since 2019, beating inflation by over 32%. So the new no longer cheap Taco Bell is doing much better and as much as people complain about their prices, it doesn't seem to translate to them losing money. McDonalds has beaten inflation in profit as well. Now this isnt to say that other inflation parts haven't influenced this, but people aren't slowing down on fast food spending enough for companies to NOT raise prices.

One of the brighter spots on this 2026 map is Maine. Consistent outspending, strong electoral performer vs a quiet candidate who isn't spending all too much.

Can the Dems find a single normal White Guy? Like one?

Cornyn got less than 42% in round one despite outspending Paxton like 50:1. Most incumbents who get below 50%, are outspent, this makes Cornyn particularly poor.

There could still be smurfing, but small donor funds constantly go to competitive races and new ones. Dem donors (college educated, slightly well off but economically falling) get genuinely excited at the thought of beating Republicans. They even gamify it with a public scorecard of who is getting the most small donor dollars, and this regularly has flash in the pan candidates. When a candidate wins the primary or suddenly has a good poll they shoot up in funding. Not from the Party, but from donors who think there is a chance to beat a Republican. Look at how many Dems have INSANE day one fundraising numbers. The GOP never gets those numbers, because our base cares way less about beating dems (or rather doing whats needed to beat dems).

Everything on the OBBBA required Congress and like 80% of the rest required a SENATE CONFIRMED individual to implement them.

So one of them wants to open the borders flood the nation with infinite third worlders and believes Whiteness is awful and evil. The other doesn't. So there actually is a right wing option.

There is a lot of discussion on the GOP being beholden to Donors, but there is little to no discussion on how we stop it. So many of the podcasters (who are mildly well off) complain that the GOP is beholden to donors. Well, the base doesn't donate to Good Republican Candidates (when comparing to Dems). A good portion of the Great and Fantastic Republicans raise less than a million, hell most of them raise less than $500k. Look at Ken Paxton. There is all this discussion about Ken Paxton being a massive upgrade, he's great, and where are the donations to him? Talafreako has raised over $36M in small grass roots dollars. While Paxton has raised like $1.8M in small grass roots dollars. We have a coalition who doesn't like giving money (except our big donors) and there seems to be little to rectify it. Even if you are considered a "good" Republican from their stand point, you still don't get that much small donors money. Even Massie, who might be represent that, only raised $3M from small dollar donations. With about 62% of his money coming from big donors as well. That's just how this party is going to work.
