Now she has ordered other DOJ lawyers to raise their hands and then come to the podium to sign a recusal brief.
Associate Attorney General Stanley Woodward—who reports directly to the Attorney General—had already signed it. Under Rule 11, that is the only signature required.
This wasn’t about ensuring a proper filing.
It was a loyalty test that put career attorneys in an untenable position between their chain of command and a judge who had already denied the motion.
