Today I announced the arrest of Adam D. Taylor, 30, of Russellville, on six felony counts of theft of property. An investigation by my Special Investigations Division found that Taylor stole more than $14,000 from Lowe’s stores in Conway and Russellville. Today I announced seven recent arrests made by my Medicaid Fraud Control Unit (MFCU). These cases—five felony charges and two misdemeanors—were investigated by special agents within MFCU and include charges for Medicaid fraud, abuse of a vulnerable person, and failure to report the abuse of an adult. Arkansas’s MFCU continues their exemplary work ensuring bad actors attempting to defraud Medicaid or abuse our vulnerable populations are held accountable. Today I announced that Antonio Cornelius Johnson, 41, and Beatrice Ann Dabbs, 36, both of Little Rock, pled guilty to two counts each of loitering and received 30-day suspended jail sentences. Both were cited for loitering in the median at University Avenue and Cantrell Road, creating a dangerous situation for themselves and motorists.
