Not surprised this ultimately comes out/gets said
If Finch said this when the moody player in question was still on the roster, that turns into a complete self implosion and would’ve made it 100% worse
Chris Finch on LaMelo Ball acquisition:
"We've been a moody team in last few years...has gotten in our way...we've traded moodiness for giddiness, so, we've gotta get to some sort of happy medium"

My team so ethical wow🥰
Chris Finch on if the Wolves coach flopping
“We don’t teach flopping here. We don’t teach embellishment. We never have. It probably shows up in Anthony’s free throw rate at times that he doesn’t flop or embellish. But we just don’t teach it here and that’s not the way we play. Maybe we should. Hopefully the league cleans up this crap, because nobody wants to watch it. That’s what they said was the feedback from the fans, is they’re tired of watching the flopping. And we know that i’ts been rewarded at too high of a level, so just stop rewarding the flopping”

The world is finally healing🙏🙏🙏
NBA referees will place a new emphasis on offensive players using their off-arm to push off defenders this season 👀

Really liked this point on leadership from Finch comparing the expectations of young players for Ant and Jaden in the NBA to young adults in the real world
Takes time to learn and grow into that maturity

Birth by fire. I like it
Chris Finch says the Wolves have intentionally avoided signing vets this year:
“My approach with Ant or with Jaden or with all these guys is, if we’re going to take the diapers off, let’s take the diapers off. Like, it’s your team now.”

He ain’t lyin. One of my favorite Wolves of all time
Pat Bev says he helped ignite the winning culture in Minnesota:
“I really put on for the city of Minnesota, and I don’t know if people know this, but they haven’t missed the playoffs since I got there… I’m not saying it’s all me, but I started something in Minnesota for sure.”

The epitome of “we’re so back” into “it’s never been more over” right back to “we’re so back”
It’s never over until the clock hits triple zeroes 💯
On March 25, the Timberwolves pulled off the LARGEST OVERTIME COMEBACK of the play-by-play era (13 points) 🤯
Clutch moments can come out of nowhere. More finishes await with @Xfinity... the 2026-27 season begins Oct. 20!
