THERE IS A 99.9% CHANCE AI WIPES OUT HUMANITY. A top AI scientist just explained why it’s not just very difficult to keep AI safe, it is actually impossible. He says that expecting humans to control a machine that is millions of times smarter than us is like expecting an ant to control a human. No matter how much money tech companies spend on safety filters today, it’s impossible to control something that beats you at every stage. Tech CEOs are racing to build this by 2027. He warns that the very moment they do it, humans lose the ability to control things forever. Watch this 👇

Most AI video tools are stuck in a loop, you generate, change the prompt, and wait again. Vidu S2 is pushing things forward by making generation interactive. You can edit the video while it is being created. Change the style, swap the background, or switch outfits in real time. If you drop in a new image, the video adjusts instantly without awkward cuts. Under the hood, it combines real time 720P output with an AI agent that actively watches the video to plan what happens next. It allows you to change reference images on the fly, powered by a model optimized specifically for live streaming. This opens up massive possibilities. Imagine viewers controlling visual changes during a livestream, people transforming into game characters, or shoppers trying on different looks live. The entire S Series is available for a free trial right now so you can test it yourself. Use my code PANDAS2 with the link below to grab 300 bonus credits to explore the other features. Thrilled to introduce Vidu S2: real-time AI video you can talk to, direct, and real-time editing. Vidu S2- Avatar: Interactive characters at 720p and 25–42 FPS, with stronger instruction following, expressive full-body motion, and dancing. Introduce new reference images anytime to change outfits, interact with objects, or switch scenes mid-conversation. Vidu S2-Editing: Transform an incoming video stream in real time while preserving motion and timing: style transfer, virtual try-on, character replacement, and background replacement. Spatial video: Bring generated characters and live video edits into stereoscopic video for immersive VR experiences. SOTA results across all five public benchmarks in our evaluation, spanning avatar generation and video editing. Try it: vidu.com/vidu-stream API: platform.vidu.com/vidu-strea… Technical report: arxiv.org/pdf/2609.11638

A finance workflow at Deel went from 40+ hours a month to under 1 hour using an agent built in Akai. Gal built it by recording the process once, and the setup is simple enough that other finance and ops teams could replicate the approach. Here's how he set it up: 1. Start with the messy version of the process. Gal's month-end meant pulling GL data from NetSuite, expenses from Payhawk and POs from Zip, then spending hours making three systems with different entity codes agree with each other. 2. Record it once and talk while you work. Akai watches your screen and listens while you explain what you're doing. 3. Let it find the connections. Gal didn't give it a list of systems. It worked them out from the recording and asked for access, including one tool with no API that the team had been exporting from by hand every month. That was the moment I started paying attention. 4. Review the workflow it creates. Akai writes out the process for you to review. 5. Check what it picked up without being told. After one correction, it realised the same subsidiary had two different codes in NetSuite and Payhawk. It also checks totals at each level and waits for Gal to review the report before sending it out, because that's what it saw him do. 6. Fix things with comments. Gal wrote “I don't do it like this” on a step and Akai changed it. He could also tag Adam to add context specific to Spain. 7. Let it run. Task completion climbs to 98%, while the workflow gets more efficient. This is the first finance agent demo I've watched twice. Watch the full walkthrough below:
EXCITED TO LAUNCH: Akai (akai.run) Deel added >$140M ARR in 90 days without increasing headcount by automating~600 Full Time Employees' equivalent in work with Akai. Akai was an internal tool to automate our painfully repetitive operations in Finance, HR, Accounts Payable, and Compliance, etc. We never intended to make this a product. But we watched revenue per employee grow from $130K to $215K We built >8k agents that do the work of ~600 employees It had such a dramatic impact on our business that today we are launching it for everyone. How it works: Say you're automating payment reconciliation: 1. Record your screen while manually matching a messy transaction and Akai will capture your screen, voice, server requests 2. Akai will see that you pulled unformatted wire transfer info from an archaic bank portal, put it in some excel sheet, checked NetSuite invoices, payment history, and put a ticket on Zendesk 3. Akai reads between the lines and build a workflow + steps + conditional guardrails. It learns tacit edge cases, like resolving malformed invoice references without you writing a single regex 4. Simply connect NetSuite, your ledger, Zendesk, PSPs, and even legacy bank portals with zero API access 5. Run the workflow and tell it what to adjust in plain English: "strip slashes on wire memos and auto-apply partial payments." It adapts instantly 6. Once it works for you, add 100s of colleagues. Your entire payment ops team forks and extends the workflow for new PSPs, secondary ledgers, or regional settlement rules 7. We automated 85% of our payment reconciliation end to end, eliminating 500+ hours of soul-crushing manual grunt work every single week. Claude Code/Codex can't do this in multiplayer mode. Every person rebuilds the same skill from scratch in their own way. Deel built Akai to: 1. Understand backend operations edge cases (it had to work for our 7000 person team first) 2. Collaborative across 1000s of employees 3. Self-Learning from millions of runs 4. Optimises cost and gets cheaper every run We're so confident that we're announcing an Automation Guarantee: If our engineers can't automate a thousand of hours of work in your first 30 days, you get a full refund. Book a demo: akai.run if you're an exec at a company with hundreds of employees

Bad dubbing makes interesting people sound boring. You’re watching someone tell a story. They’re funny, a little sarcastic, stumbling over a word. Switch languages and suddenly they sound like they’re reading the safety instructions on a flight. I want to understand what they’re saying without losing the person saying it. That’s what interests me about this Cartesia clip. Take that idea beyond a meme: being able to follow a Japanese filmmaker or a Brazilian teacher and still hear *them*. I wonder how many people I’d love listening to that I’ve never discovered because we don’t speak the same language.

What if AI video stopped being something you watch? With @PixVerse R2, the world keeps evolving as you interact with it. Move through the scene, change the environment, and see how it responds to your input. I put it to the test:

What I’m most curious about is where this goes next. If AI can generate the world, respond to player input, and adapt as you interact with it, the line between a video, a game, and an interactive film starts to blur.

The bigger idea here isn’t just better AI video. It’s what happens when generated worlds become interactive from faster game prototyping to new forms of interactive storytelling. R2 still feels early, but the direction is fascinating. Try it here: world.pixverse.video/home/?u… #PixVerseWorldModel

Today, we're launching Typeless for Linux. Typeless is now available on Mac, Windows, iOS, Android — and Linux. The Linux app brings the full Typeless desktop experience, with all the core features available on Mac. But this launch is about more than adding another platform. For us, every new platform is another step toward a bigger goal: making voice the default way for people to interact with computers — wherever they think, create, and work. For decades, the keyboard has been the default interface between our thoughts and computers. And we've gotten so used to it that we rarely question the friction. Thoughts come fast, messy, and nonlinear. Before you communicate them, you normally have to turn them into sentences in your head first. Then you slow everything down again to type. We built Typeless to remove both layers of friction. With Typeless, you can just think out loud. Follow your thoughts wherever they go. Change your mind halfway through. Add context later. Repeat yourself. Speak imperfectly. Typeless turns that messy stream of thought into clear, polished writing in real time. It removes filler words and repetition, structures your ideas, adapts to your writing style, understands your personal vocabulary, and gives you writing that fits the app you're working in. You can: • Dictate — turn messy thoughts into clear writing, 4x faster than typing • Translate — speak in your language and write naturally in another • Ask anything — use your voice to write from scratch, or select text to edit it, ask questions, and take actions • Build your dictionary — names, acronyms, and specialized terms get recognized correctly • Personalize your style — Typeless learns how you write and adapts to where you're writing • Speak 100+ languages — including naturally mixing languages while you talk And it's private by design. Linux users tend to be some of the people who spend the most time interacting deeply with computers. Developers. Engineers. Researchers. Builders. They should be able to use voice as naturally on Linux as anywhere else. Our long-term belief is simple: Voice will become the default way people interact with computers. Not because speaking is merely faster than typing. But because voice gives us a way to communicate with computers much closer to the speed and form in which thoughts actually happen. To us, that's what real freedom in computing looks like: expressing what you mean without adapting how you think. And for that future to happen, it can't belong to one device, one operating system, or one workflow. It has to be available wherever you work. Linux. Mac. Windows. iOS. Android. One interface, wherever you work. Typeless for Linux is here.
