Even if all 4 Independents had supported BJP, that would make it 61. Yet BJP’s Anusuiya Goswami got 65 votes. That means 4 Congress councillors cross-voted. Will Congress call this "vote chori" too? 😂 Before the Rajasthan local elections, Congress was boasting about winning 5 out of 10 municipal corporations. In the end, it won just 1. From 5 to 1. What a brutal reality check.

Today is Ganpati Visarjan, and it’s beautiful to see devotees giving Bappa a grand farewell. If we welcome Bappa with such enthusiasm, the visarjan should be celebrated with the same spirit. But this DJ competition in the name of visarjan is completely unnecessary and, in my view, downright wrong. This video is from my city, Anand, where the visarjan has turned into a DJ competition, with speakers blasting so loudly that it feels like people’s eardrums might start vibrating. Use dhol, nagada and gulal. Celebrate with devotion, energy and tradition. But I strongly oppose turning visarjan into a loud DJ show just for the sake of showing off. Some people may not like me saying this, but if we genuinely respect Bappa, we should also know where to draw the line.

Let me give you a few examples, since apparently Indian political history needs to be explained to you: -Nehru: 17 continuous years as Prime Minister. -Indira Gandhi: 11 continuous years as Prime Minister from 1966 to 1977. -Left Front, West Bengal: 34 continuous years in power. -Digvijaya Singh, Madhya Pradesh: 10 continuous years as Chief Minister. -Mamata Banerjee, West Bengal: 15+ continuous years as Chief Minister. -Naveen Patnaik, Odisha: 24 continuous years as Chief Minister. -Pawan Chamling, Sikkim: 24+ continuous years as Chief Minister. -Manik Sarkar, Tripura: 19 continuous years as Chief Minister. -M.G. Ramachandran, Tamil Nadu: 10+ continuous years as Chief Minister. So please stop pretending that anti-incumbency is some compulsory law of Indian elections. Governments have stayed in power for decades because voters repeatedly chose them. The difference is simple: when Congress kept winning, it was a mandate. When BJP keeps winning, Rahul Gandhi starts searching for a conspiracy.

College dropout Abhijeet Dipke is making little school kids salute him and call him "Sir." What a joke. A man with no degree to show for himself is roaming around schools acting like some self appointed principal, intimidating children and making them salute him.
