One of the best parts of building an ecosystem? Watching different parts of it build on each other. This time, it was the 3Ps: People, Probiotics, Pilates. We recently welcomed VAURA Pilates as an ARC partner, giving members preferential rates on class packs and memberships across all their studios in Singapore. To kick things off, members came together to sweat it out at VAURA Cross Street. Big shoutout to Steph and the team for hosting us! And because apparently Pilates wasn’t enough wellness for one day, Archemi Labs (archemilabs.com/) joined the party too. Enough founder success stories. Tell us what almost killed the company. At a recent event ARC co-hosted with @elephantsinc & @awscloud, we got founders and investors to talk candidly about the mistakes, wrong assumptions and near-death experiences that shaped how they build today. Four lessons for anyone building in Asia 👇

Yacht parties are so 2020. Not because they’re bad. But because nothing compounds afterwards. Since June, the ladies in ARC have been leading AI sessions for the collective. For Session 4, 12 ARC members came together to share what they’ve been building with AI. They demoed their projects, gave each other advice, and shared useful tools and resources to help everyone push their ideas further. Recap: arc-ladies-ai.vercel.app/ses… At the end of a yacht party, you leave with mostly photos and a hangover. At the end of these AI sessions, you leave with something you’ve built. Maybe it improves your daily workflow. Maybe it solves a problem for someone else. Maybe it becomes a product you keep building long after the session ends. That’s the kind of gathering we want more of at ARC: come together, build something, and help each other make it better. Then see where it compounds from there.

Every AI-built website is starting to look the same, and a lot of it is bordering on slop. The tools aren't the problem. Everyone is just accepting the first (or second) thing the AI gives them. On Wednesday, @undergroundergr, Creative Lead at @ARCdotXYZ, spent an hour teaching our members to differentiate themselves by building a scroll-animated personal site with AI. Everyone who attended left knowing how to build one themselves. Her line from the session: "The easy part is making the whole scrolling website. The hard part is thinking of the imagery." They all look the same because the build is close to free now. Choosing what goes into it isn't. AI can write code faster than ever but does that make developers less important, or even more critical? At the ACTIV8 Retail Stage, Max Lee (@maxlsy94), Founder & CEO of GIL SYSTEM TECHNOLOGY, joined moderator Joan Ng (@imthejoan), Partnership Lead at MYBW and Head of Partnership at ARC (@ARCdotXYZ), for the fireside chat: “Is Developer Still Important In the Vibe Coding Era?” A sharp discussion on AI-assisted coding, developer relevance, and what the next generation of builders will actually need to stay ahead.

When Bitcoin slows down, market attention does not disappear, it rotates. At the ACTIV8 Retail Stage, Lucas Lee (@lucasonchain) from ARC (@ARCdotXYZ), Kelvyn Chuah (@ChuahKelvyn) from SINEGY DAX (@SinegyMY), and Arravind Prabu from AgroBilis (@cryptobilis) joined moderator Colbert Low (@sirshibaninja) from IMBA Finance (@imbaproject) for the panel: “When Bitcoin Slows, Where Does Attention Go?” A timely discussion on market cycles, retail behaviour, altcoin narratives, and where Web3 momentum could move next.

Last month, five ARC members spent an evening showing each other what they had built with AI. @natalestee even built a marketing “voice OS” that writes and audits on-brand content. Last week, two more did it again: an account manager at Chainlink who built an ecosystem signals tool, and a marketing lead who built herself an entire marketing department out of specialist AI skills. (Session 2 recap: arc-ladies-ai.vercel.app/ses…) Nobody was pitching or raising. This is the part of an ecosystem people tend to miss. We talk about founders and portfolios because those are the things with announcements attached. But the reason a collective compounds is quieter than that. It is members who are good at something choosing to spend a Wednesday evening making everyone else better at it. That is what an ecosystem actually looks like from the inside. Not a logo cloud. ARC’s latest roundtable in Bangkok was a reminder of where we are heading next. Not just as a collective, but as an ecosystem for builders. The session was designed around a simple shift in perspective. Instead of asking founders and operators to start with their problems, we asked them to start with what has been working. What has gone right? Where have they seen growth? Which partners, communities, or channels could help them take the next step? That shift changed the energy in the room. The conversation became less about abstract advice and more about useful access. Less about “how can we help?” and more about “who exactly do you need to reach, and where can ARC create the bridge?” For builders looking at Thailand, the discussion went even deeper. Some needed access to local communities. Some needed distribution. Some needed market context. Some needed partners on the ground. Some needed the right introductions to understand where their product could actually land. That is where ARC’s ecosystem becomes powerful. Not through broad conversations or generic networking, but through understanding what builders need, identifying who in the network can help, and creating the right bridges across people, capital, markets, and distribution. Bangkok showed us what this next chapter looks like. A more builder-centric ARC. A more intentional ecosystem.
