Gay Activist: Why is it not okay for men to marry men or women to marry women?
Michael Knowles: Because marriage is, by its nature, the union between a man and a woman for the purpose of creation.
Gay Activist: According to the Bible?
Michael Knowles: No, according to nature.
Gay Activist: But you’ve seen that there are gay animals in nature, right?
Michael Knowles: Yeah, that’s not marriage. They’re not married.
Gay Activist: But is having sex with other men and loving them a natural thing?
Michael Knowles: I think there are all sorts of weird deviancies and aberrations that come out.
Gay Activist: If it’s natural, why is it deviant?
Michael Knowles: We mean “natural” in two different ways. Some things happen in nature, but that doesn’t necessarily make them good for human beings. Marriage is a natural institution, and I’m saying it’s contrary to natural law.
Piers Morgan: Do you think he’s a deviant for being gay?
Michael Knowles: Yeah, a bit deviant, yeah.
Gay Activist: People who are homophobic are always closeted gay men afraid of their own feelings. The research says it.
Piers Morgan: Are you being sent to gay therapy?
Gay Activist: I’ve never been to any therapy because it works on me. That’s why I’m gay.
Michael Knowles: What’s amazing about that response is that if you express the traditional Christian, Jewish, or Muslim view of homosexuality, the first thing some pro-LGBT activists do is accuse you of secretly being gay.
I wasn’t even using it as an insult you’re the one using it as an insult.
Gay Activist: I said that because you called me a deviant. You’re afraid of gay people, and the only reason for that would be that you’re secretly gay.
Michael Knowles: Christians, Jews, and Muslims believe the Bible is God’s word, inspired by the men who wrote it.
Gay Activist: But why are the men who wrote that book correct, and the other books that weren’t included incorrect?
Michael Knowles: What other books?
Gay Activist: I want you to read The Queer Thing About Sin. It dives into this quite deeply.
Piers Morgan: Have a Pride Day, but why a whole month?
Gay Activist: We have Pride events all over the world. I think it’s an important month because it shows people that we’re okay, we’re allowed to exist, and the world supports us.
