Accel LaunchPad
The most important companies of the next decade won't iterate on the present. They will extend the map of what's possible, delivering a step-function change in the human experience. That's LeapTech. Today, we're proud to announce the six startups that embody it—introducing Atoms X cohort, backed by Accel & @Prosus_Ventures.

We just released a new batch of Posha and it disappeared in 100 seconds. 100 seconds. That's all it took for us to be sold out. Really need to ramp up supply.

Every VC meeting is a founder evaluation, yet most founders prepare for the pitch. In a recent episode of @Seed2Scale, @_AnandDaniel, Partner at @Accel, sat down with @RajanAnandan, Managing Director at @peakxvpartners, and @mukularora, Co-Managing Partner at @ElevCap, to discuss what actually happens when investors decide whether to back a company.

3/ 𝐒𝐚𝐲 𝐢𝐭 𝐞𝐱𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐥𝐲 𝐚𝐬 𝐢𝐭 𝐢𝐬 Be precise about what’s actually happening in the business. Investors will speak to your customers and check the numbers. Being honest about what’s working, what isn’t, and where the gaps are helps move the process forward.

This patent is the first step to changing how optical ground stations work. Congratulations @Jain_Shrey_, @RohitKR79 and @aalokelab!
QOSMIC has been granted a US patent by the United States Patent and Trademark Office. We've been working toward this for just under a year, and it's a proud day for the whole team. For decades, optical ground stations have been built around one assumption: if you want to collect more light from a satellite, you need a bigger telescope. Past a point, that stopped making sense. Our optical ground station uses an array of phased telescopes acting as one aperture. It's the architecture behind ARGUS, and it turns a ground station from a fixed piece of infrastructure into something modular, that scales with the constellation it serves. Both uplink and downlink. Why this matters now: as satellite data moves from radio to light, the ground has to keep up. The constellations going up need far more data brought down, faster and more efficiently than today's stations can manage. This patent embodies the core of how we solve that. The ground stations of the next era won't look like the ones we have today. This is just the start, and we're moving fast. @Jain_Shrey_ @RohitKR79 @aalokelab @AccelIndia @AccelAtoms @Accel @spc @artparkindia @spc_india @_pagarwal @MBalachand90142 @prateekmehta42 @ankitcc @adityaag @JPBrebner @nayankote

The piece traces the science, the sniffers (mostly beagles, at a facility they call Sniffspace), and the recent study published in the Journal of Clinical Oncology. As Dognosis pursues commercial approval, it's collaborating with government medical institutions on further research, with a commercial launch planned for next year, making it only the third company of its kind in the world.

Most founders think the hardest part of selling to an enterprise is building a good enough product. It's not. Recently, @skirani, Partner at @Accel, sat down with Jason Graefe from @Microsoft to talk about what actually separates founders who crack enterprise from those who don't. Here's what it takes to get there and stay there:

The founders who define this era won't just be the ones who move fastest. They'll be the ones who move with enough depth that speed alone can't displace them. Watch the full conversation here: piped.video/HjpoU2uYFTQ?si=at5L…

Before you scroll, @Meesho_Official's systems have already processed 2 trillion signals to decide what to show you. In an episode of Decoding AI, @anagh_prasad, Investor at @Accel, sat down with @mdebdoot, Chief Data Scientist & Head of AI at Meesho, to unpack what building AI at true Bharat scale actually looks like. Two ideas stood out for anyone building consumer AI in India.

The real challenge isn’t just better models, but reducing friction between user intent and the system, whether through LLMs that understand messy natural-language queries or interfaces like voice that remove the need for typed keywords entirely.

The companies that win in India will build around how Bharat naturally communicates, not how users are assumed to behave. Watch the full episode here: piped.video/GUbTtUwGYWU?si=2aVO…
