When did Broncos twitter become such a bunch of whiny bitches? There are plenty of things to work on, but 2-2 vs. the best the NFL has to offer is hardly anything to be ashamed of. If Arizona routs us tho I think that's legitimate cause for a crashout.

Were the moon landings faked?! Here's the truth. They DID fake them, but they hired Stanley Kubrick, the best director, to fake it so the film would be impossible to disprove. Unfortunately, Kubrick's obsessive need for accuracy meant they had to film it on location.

God does not love adultery.
If the Patriots win tonight it’s because god supports adultery.

"If we are to discuss the idea of God and be restricted to rational arguments then it is probably useful to know what we are talking about when we say “God.” This turns out not to be easy. The Romans called the Christians atheists. Why? Well, the Christians had a god of sorts, but it wasn’t a real god. They didn’t believe in the divinity of apotheosized emperors or Olympian gods. They had a peculiar, different kind of god. So it was very easy to call people who believed in a different kind of god atheists. And that general sense that an atheist is anybody who doesn’t believe exactly as I do prevails in our own time." — Carl Sagan

Last week in Arizona, Marine Corps Engineers extended a steel barrier between the United States and Mexico by two and a half miles. It's all part of a plan to make, uh, illegal aliens walk an extra two and a half miles.

Wrath of Khan isn’t canon because Chekhov wasn’t on the Enterprise until Season Two Selective forgiveness of retcons is highly illogical Yet all too common among primitive life forms 👀
Replying to @CaptainFinityTT
Peck Spock is not canon Spock because he is not in canon Star Trek. He is with T'Pring on the fake new Enterprise in SNW when in canon he has not seen her since childhood. He still has an "adopted sister" who is still Michael Burnham. He does not experience Pon Farr. Strange New Worlds is not canon Star Trek, but it's canon NuTrek.

Okay here are my superhero takes for you to agree or fight me on. Christopher Reeves was hands-down the best Superman. Tobey Maguire was the best Spiderman, though it's not as clear-cut as Reeve's Superman. (Also does it "bug" you as much as me that Spiderman's classic outfit is red? There are vanishingly few red spiders.) We have not yet had the definitive live-action Batman. What do you say?

“Weird Al” Yankovic turned down a million-dollar offer to perform in Saudi Arabia because "I don’t need to take any amount of money if it makes me feel icky." "I was invited to the Riyadh Comedy Festival, which is something that I obviously did not want to do. They offered me, I’m not going to say how much, but it was seven figures to do one show, which is way more than I’ve ever been offered in my life to do a show. But I just couldn’t be part of that. I’m not dissing anybody that took the money because I’m sure everybody that went there got a lot of money. I’m sure they had their own reasons and justifications for doing it. But I’m doing enough that I don’t need to take any amount of money if it makes me feel icky, and that kind of did.” (via TribLive) variety.com/2026/tv/news/wei…

“There is no other species on Earth that does science. It is, so far, entirely a human invention, evolved by natural selection in the cerebral cortex for one simple reason: it works. It is not perfect. It can be misused. It is only a tool. But it is by far the best tool we have, self-correcting, ongoing, applicable to everything. It has two rules. First: there are no sacred truths; all assumptions must be critically examined; arguments from authority are worthless. Second: whatever is inconsistent with the facts must be discarded or revised. We must understand the Cosmos as it is and not confuse how it is with how we wish it to be. The obvious is sometimes false; the unexpected is sometimes true. Humans everywhere share the same goals when the context is large enough. And the study of the Cosmos provides the largest possible context. Present global culture is a kind of arrogant newcomer. It arrives on the planetary stage following four and a half billion years of other acts, and after looking about for a few thousand years declares itself in possession of eternal truths. But in a world that is changing as fast as ours, this is a prescription for disaster. No nation, no religion, no economic system, no body of knowledge, is likely to have all the answers for our survival. There must be many social systems that would work far better than any now in existence. In the scientific tradition, our task is to find them.” — Carl Sagan
