If you can bench Casemiro, Varane, CR7, Sancho, Eriksen, etc., when they’re not playing well (I agree with that) then surely you can drop or bench Rashford when he’s selfish, greedy & absolutely shocking. If you can’t, then something at this club is more rotten than we think. Disgusting.

Seeing Martial prop & love on the timeline from some people actually pisses me off. Where were you when he was there? Many of us were telling you all how good he was but too many were busy defending Rashford instead, calling for him start ahead of Martial.

Cristiano Ronaldo seems to have a twisted understanding of respect. From the outside, it looks like anything that isn’t complete adoration of him is considered disrespect and/or an affront.

They made about 13M a year in sponsor deals and they wanted us to believe they were generating Man United & Real Madrid money 😭
Manchester City reported £949.4m arriving from sponsors over nine years. The real number was £119.2m. Abu Dhabi United Group (ADUG), the club’s owner, forked out the remaining £830.7m in what the commission described as a “disguised funding scheme”. City are alleged to have overstated their revenue by £854.5m over nine years. We knew it was going to be bad. But this bad? No, it is on a different scale to anything the Premier League has seen before. 📝@DTathletic 🔗 nyti.ms/4yXalR2

Yeah they’re cooked. I just hope they get serious serious punishment. This needs to show other clubs that the risk isn’t worth it. Strip them of the titles & relegate them to the depth of English football.
BREAKING: The Premier League confirm an independent Commission has found Manchester City guilty of all charges related to serious breaches of the Premier League’s financial rules over a nine-season period, and the majority of charges in relation to its failure to co-operate with the League’s investigation. The independent Commission found that between Seasons 2009/10 and 2017/18: "Manchester City arranged ‘sham’ contracts (which misrepresented the true agreement between the parties) with a number of its commercial partners, as well as relying on ‘sham’ agreements with others, to artificially inflate the club’s revenues and reduce its costs. "The club filed misstated accounts and concealed the true state of its finances from its auditors and football regulators. "Manchester City was significantly in breach of both the Premier League’s and UEFA’s spending limits. "During the Premier League’s investigation, Manchester City committed multiple breaches of its duties of co-operation and utmost good faith towards the League (three of the four alleged breaches were upheld). "The independent Commission found that Manchester City arranged ‘sham’ commercial deals with a number of its sponsors during the period, which were part of a disguised funding scheme, whereby those companies were only required to pay a portion of the relevant sponsorship fees. The remainder was funded by Abu Dhabi United Group Investment & Development Ltd (ADUG), which owned the club. As part of the scheme, further ‘sham’ arrangements, funded by ADUG, were entered into to enable the club to record lower operating expenses than it actually incurred, as well as a ‘sham’ circular arrangement with Fordham, an entity that purchased the club’s players’ image rights, that was funded by ADUG." The EPL add: "The purpose of these schemes was found to have been to artificially inflate the club’s revenues, and reduce its costs, by more than £900 million during the affected period, to appear to comply with financial rules. The consequence of this, as the Commission found, was that the club filed misstated accounts and concealed the true state of its finances from its auditors and football regulators. The Commission concluded that ‘by its conduct the club clearly intended to circumvent the PL Rules. "As a result, Manchester City failed to accurately report its income and expenditure for the purposes of the Premier League’s Profitability and Sustainability Rules and UEFA’s Club Licensing and Financial Fair Play Rules. The Commission found that, had all of the relevant agreements been reported accurately in the club’s accounts, it would have been in breach of both the League’s and UEFA’s spending limits by a very substantial amount. "In addition, during the course of the four-year investigation conducted by the Premier League, the club committed multiple breaches of its duties of co-operation and utmost good faith towards the League. The Commission concluded that the club had ‘made concerted efforts to stop and frustrate the PL investigation." Richard Masters: “The core decision establishes the facts of what happened at Manchester City during this period. It details how the club systematically broke Premier League Rules for nearly a decade. “It also vindicates the Premier League’s decision to pursue this case against Manchester City.  While the process to date has been both long and difficult, the League has remained determined that the facts be established independently. “It is a key responsibility of the Premier League to ensure that the Rules, approved by the clubs themselves, are upheld to protect the integrity of the competition. It is paramount that the League remains competitive and fair for all clubs and for the fans. We take that role extremely seriously. “This disciplinary case, and this decision, are the most significant in Premier League history. There are elements of the case that remain to be decided, including, importantly, what sanction must follow for these breaches. Now we have the Commission’s decision, we are committed to moving swiftly through the remainder of the process, to provide certainty for the League, our clubs and fans.” A redacted version of the independent Commission’s findings has been published. Now that the charges have been proved, the issue of sanction will be addressed separately in a further hearing. City has the right to appeal the independent Commission’s findings and has until Friday 2 October to exercise that right.

I’ve seen people unable to read the room, but this is reaching uncharted territory.
🚨 Manchester United CEO Omar Berrada statement. “We are pleased to have secured record revenues and adjusted EBITDA which demonstrates the underlying strength of our business, particularly in a season without European football”. “This shows the direct impact of the work we have been doing over the past two years. It also proves Manchester United’s enduring popularity and commercial strength. While these results confirm that we are on the right trajectory, we will continue to take a disciplined approach to ensure our finances remain sustainable”. “With that financial sustainability in mind, we have strengthened both our men’s and women’s teams during the summer window and our men’s team has seen the return of Champions League football to Old Trafford”.

Or they’ll say he’s more of a forward/ striker. Notice how according to his fans, Rashford’s best position is always the other one, the one he’s not playing in when dropping a stinker.
Rashford is always either out of confidence and needs his smile back or he’s playing through injury. The most obvious explanation is never the first one people come up with. How about he’s just poor & doesn’t improve the teams he plays in?

I’ve never seen our fans get fed up with a manager so quickly. I can’t blame them honestly. And I don’t think it’s Carrick specific. It just shows the levels of accumulated frustration over the years, we’ve just had enough.

It’s really not a good start to the season. So many things are wrong it’s really difficult to know where to even start. Everything seems to be falling off. It’s just not good enough.

Yeah I'm sorry, call me harsh but that's not on. Can't have my manager crying after a loss to Brighton. Unless there's something in his personal life going on that we don't know about, he needs to show strength. That's not it.
🚨 𝗡𝗘𝗪: Michael Carrick had TEARS in his eyes during his post-match press conference after being eliminated from the Carabao Cup by Brighton. His voice was noticeably emotional, and at times he struggled to get his words out.

Barcelona Rather pay 80million for Gordon’s Than 30million for Rashford. Barcelona have Adeyemi and Gabriel Jesus than pay 30 million for Marcus Rashford!! Let this sink in!!!

You know we’re in trouble when I’m seeing United fans say « it’s just football, it’s not that deep. As long as you have your health and your loved ones that’s what matters ». You know we’re cooked.

If you development & picking up good habits means anything to your you also wouldn’t want to train & learn from Bruno. Kid’s smart now that I think about it, didn’t realize it before.
Imagine being in YEAR 10 and refusing to train with Bruno fucking Fernandes and Manchester United’s first team. JJ Gabriel or whoever is advising him needs to give their head a proper good wobble.
