Voodoo, known locally as Vodoun, originated in the Dahomey kingdom present-day Benin and Togo and is still widely practiced sometimes in coastal towns like Ouidah, Benin Republic Every year, on January 10th, Benin celebrates the ancestral deity that are the foundation of the various forms of traditional religion practiced in the country. On this day, all the voodoo adepts from the south of the country meet in Ouidah. The festival is drawing people of African descent to discover the religion and land of their enslaved ancestors. Vodoun is also practice in the Caribbean.

What will this do for us? Can it save us? No !!! Can it give eternal life? No !!! Let us focus on and believe in Jesus Christ. He is the answer to it all.

Isn't Voodoo a religion like Christianity or Judaism except chicken quarters go into the collection plate?
