🚨 BREAKING: Elon Musk AGREES with President Trump's declaration that the riots in France are about Islam trying to take over the country ELON: "It’s an invasion in slow motion, but an invasion nonetheless. And those who support the invasion are traitors who deserve the fate of all traitors." 💯💯 It's treason! They are literally INVITING ENEMIES of France, who are then allowed to run rampant in the streets with foreign flags — committing violence Marine Le Pen is their last hope 🇺🇸🇫🇷

🚨 A 15-year-old schoolboy was arrested by West Midlands Police after posting online that a Conservative councillor was dressed like a “rent boy”. In one of the most shocking cases we have seen at the Free Speech Union, Fraser, a 15-year-old @reformparty_uk activist, was woken in the night by four officers at his door. They arrested him and seized his devices. The day before, he had been in Clacton campaigning for @Nigel_Farage in the by-election. What had he done? A handful of Facebook posts had apparently upset a Conservative councillor in Wolverhampton so much that he called on West Midlands Police to act as his personal force. In one post, Fraser criticised the councillor for wearing a T-shirt and shorts during a council meeting. In another, after the councillor wore a suit, Fraser remarked that he was thankfully not dressed like a “rent boy”. A third post showed the councillor with bunny ears and teeth. On 8 September, Fraser’s lawyers received an email from West Midlands Police stating: “It is alleged that your client’s comments could be considered a hate crime offence.” Fraser was arrested in view of his neighbours, searched twice, fingerprinted and photographed, then put in a cell. Even his shoes were taken away. This is not something that should happen in a democracy. It is straight out of the Soviet handbook: politicians having their critics and mockers locked up. Two months on, West Midlands Police have still not decided whether to charge Fraser. The Free Speech Union is supporting him and will be there to defend him if he is charged. The British Government is preparing an apparatus of internet censorship without parallel in the modern era. At the UN, Andy Burnham announced the creation of a National Centre for Information Defence — Labour’s Ministry of Truth. The Prime Minister says the centre will protect us from hostile foreign powers such as Russia, which he accused of spreading lies and disinformation about Britain, amplifying “far-right narratives” and interfering in our democracy. But the real purpose is to suppress dissent and silence those who criticise the Government or express views about the state of the country that run counter to Labour’s prevailing progressive orthodoxy. FSU Director of Policy and Research David Rose has written a new briefing examining the threadbare research the Government has used to justify its plans. The Government is clutching at straws — and, ironically, already spreading misinformation about the threat of misinformation. It has ignored a wealth of evidence from leading academics to push ahead with its new censorship regime. Burnham’s Government is putting Britain in the same league as some of the world’s most authoritarian powers. Watch the new episode of the FSU Podcast with General Secretary of the FSU Lord Young of Acton on YouTube and read @DavidRoseUK’s report below 👇

🚨 British teen ARRESTED over Facebook post. Fraser: “I had posted a numerous amount of posts criticizing the councillor… And I must have hit his nerve a bit, so he reported me to the police.” “As an elected official you’re supposed to be there to represent the people, not to be sitting on your phone getting paid to do nothing.”

The ability to criticise our elected representatives is a cornerstone of a free society. But it appears to be a right we have taken for granted. Fraser, a 15-year-old boy, posted a handful of comments on Facebook that upset a Conservative councillor on Wolverhampton City Council, who then complained to the police. West Midlands Police subsequently arrested Fraser at his home, interrogated him and seized his devices. It appears the force believes that calling a councillor a “rent boy” could amount to a “hate crime”. This is a deeply troubling case. Politicians must not be able to use the police as a personal mechanism for silencing criticism or insults they dislike. The right to criticise our elected representatives is fundamental to free speech and democracy. Watch Fraser speaking to @FoxNews 👇

Over the past five years, 62,199 people have been arrested for speech-related offences. Of those, 18,520 were charged and 12,292 convicted. That means more than 12,000 people received criminal records for speech offences in just five years. This is not normal in a free society. Britain is rapidly becoming the North Korea of the North Sea. If you’re worried about the police knocking on your door over something you’ve said in person or online, join the Free Speech Union. We’re your best defence.

🇺🇦 UKRAINE IS ADVANCING. Something on the front is changing. What used to be isolated Ukrainian successes is becoming a pattern. Ukrainian forces are retaking territory across several sectors, while Russia is being forced to fight again for ground it once considered secured. The map is moving. Slowly. Painfully. But in the right direction. Russia came to erase Ukraine from the map. Instead, Ukraine is rewriting the map. Glory to Ukraine. 🇺🇦
