play stupid games, win stupid prizes. that’s why yo ass being called a Zionist and Jihadist at the same time smh
This day is profoundly painful for so many New Yorkers. It marks three years since the horrific war crimes of October 7. On that day, Hamas killed more than 1,100 Israelis and abducted 251 others. We grieve alongside our many friends and neighbors who still carry that unthinkable loss. The suffering did not begin nor end that day. It instead continued through the Israeli government’s devastating, ongoing genocide in Gaza, in which it has killed more than 74,000 Palestinians—including more than 21,000 children. Even since the so-called ceasefire, more than 1,400 Palestinians have been killed. That suffering has intensified with every Israeli bomb dropped on ambulances waiting outside hospitals, every drone strike targeting a residential building or journalist, and every shipment of food aid turned away at a border crossing. Many New Yorkers are reckoning with this unbearable grief, and we mourn alongside them – all while knowing that our tax dollars fund these war crimes. Three years later, we must refuse to accept a world in which occupation and apartheid continue, where war crimes are met with impunity, and our federal government continues its complicity with every arms shipment. To honor the dead, we must fight for a world in which every person can live with freedom, safety, and dignity.

My favorite thing is that COVID conscious people are basically right (COVID is awful for you, repeat infections are cumulatively damaging to your health), but they all happen to be the most insufferable people alive and so are the worst imaginable proxies

Will never forget going to the Met and this lady walked past me in the better version of one of my favorite jackets. She had the collar up as well. I had to reassess my whole day.

If you walk around New York City, you’ll likely see sticker graffiti on private and public property. Some people love seeing these stickers, some consider them art, but others like YouTuber SweetP aren’t a fan of seeing them littered on public infrastructure like mailboxes. He has garnered a large audience online showing his process of restoring public property across the city that “seem like they’ve been forgotten”.

one of my first and most prominent symptoms of ME back in 2017 was exactly this. i kept telling everyone my brain felt swollen and that there was a deep pressure in my head that felt like it was pushing outwards. no one had any answers for me back then. this is wild to read
Brain Pressure in Long COVID Do you ever feel like there is pressure deep inside your brain? Not necessarily a headache, but a fullness or heaviness or pressure sensation, often concentrated in the back of your head? I hear this repeatedly from patients. 🧵

Blue-rich LED lights in classrooms makes kids aggressive. John Nash Ott, author of Health & Light, noted: under fluorescent lights, some kids were anxious & creating havoc. Bring in more sunlight and that same kid was front of class, answering questions. Isolated blue lights without infrared & UV from the sun = perpetual stress mode. More below.

That tweet has probably led to multiple suicides. I think it is unironically one of the most dangerous things ever posted to this site.
if you have ADHD you cannot under any circumstance internalize that fact you need to have "omg you people cant do anything" flashing your brain at all costs once your ADHD becomes self aware its sincerely over for you that demon will thrive off of that excuse till the day you die

let me save you a few years of confusion: being able to endure something is not proof that you should keep enduring it. you’re allowed to discern that a situation is not right for you before the wheels fall off.
