I hope people do recognise tho now that this is an intentional thing the narrative is portraying, not a ‘flaw’ of the show. It’s very clear this decision is intentional for his character arc
And at the end this was indeed a resignation smile, everything is getting worse and he just keeps trying to be "mature" like everyone says, I wonder how much he can take before he actually explodes and it would be valid, he's holding back so much and it's not healthy
