It doesn't need to be determined whether he HAD a back injury. But if Steelers doctors are saying he does not have one NOW, Porter choosing not to play due to a back injury is rightly and fairly debatable. Either someone is lying, or someone is guilty of gross incompetence.
BROTHER I’m not sure the Steelers want to open the "breach of contract" door.
They’re the ones who initially put JPJ on PUP with a back issue. Since then we’ve gone from back injury, conditioning, and back injury again after he left practice with a trainer.
If Pittsburgh tries to say he’s healthy and refusing to play, you better believe the NFLPA is gonna start pulling medical records and asking some uncomfortable questions.
Which is it? Was the back injured or wasn’t it?
This thing could get ugly FAST!
