Nathalie Belizaire, 29, of North Miami Beach, is facing four counts of child neglect after police say she left her FOUR children home alone, including a 2 month old infant and a 2 year old while she boarded a three-day Carnival cruise to the Bahamas! And yes… you read that correctly. According to the arrest affidavit, the "father" of the infant saw a WhatsApp post appearing to show Belizaire had purchased a cruise ticket. He says she told him the kids would be staying with their great-grandmother. Only one problem though.. according to police, the kids never made it to Grandma's house. On September 26, the children's "father" or is it "baby-daddy?" went to Belizaire's apartment. He says he saw the television on through the blinds and heard children inside. So he called 911. What a hero! Police and Miami-Dade Fire Rescue arrived and forced their way into the apartment. Inside, authorities say they found all four children hiding together in a bathroom. 😡 Let that sink in for a second. A 2-month-old baby.... and a 2 year old! The other children's ages were not released. So... No adult supervision... Zero! Meanwhile, "Mom" and I use that term loosely! Was apparently somewhere on the high seas enjoying the Bahamas. 🧉🍹🧉 Police say Belizaire's great-grandmother confirmed the children were never dropped off with her. Belizaire allegedly returned to Port-Miami Monday morning aboard the Carnival Conquest. And law enforcement was waiting for her. She was taken into custody after disembarking. Welcome home Mom!!!
