Lore wise this is the usual mess Ubisoft have been doing with this franchise for years but I’m shocked at how far along this is for a simple mock up
Here's REAL footage of a cancelled Assassin's Creed game named 'Assassin’s Creed Destiny'.
- Set in 206 BCE during the Qin Dynasty
- Featured a female assassin and a mission involving Xiang Yu’s army
- Early footage showed a potential boss fight against Xiang Yu
- Gameplay included stealth, parkour, the Leap of Faith and a spinning umbrella weapon
- Unique air assassinations and ground takedowns
- Ink brush style ability icons, a health bar, and an ornate bar with a yin yang emblem visible on screen.
- First prototype footage dates back to February 2025
- Animations featuring male and female characters suggest players may have been able to choose their character’s gender.
- Reportedly in development at Tencent’s TiMi Studio Group before being cancelled
Interestingly, Assassin's Creed Jade still remains in development, despite AC Destiny being scrapped.
