This show is hot garbage, but it is also basically a reflection of leftist desires and motives. Hal Jordan is a symbol of "underserved" white western male success. He is murdered by a hysterical woman (feminism), and the crime is covered up by a minority (DEI), and everyone looks the other way because that is "social justice" in the minds of leftists. Even if Hal Jordan is, at bottom, a good man, it doesn't matter to them. Everything that belongs to Hal Jordan must be redistributed and John Stewart (the oppressed but "more capable" minority) must step out of Jordan's shadow. And for that to happen, Jordan must be destroyed. This is not a show, this is a thinly disguised manifesto for woke fanatics.

The allegations in the Cornell sexual assault case are deeply disturbing and gut-wrenching. Cornell University has failed this survivor.
I fully support Governor Hochul's decision to name Attorney General James as special prosecutor in this case and look forward to the complete and extensive investigation that is to come.
Accountability and justice cannot simply be values, they must also be delivered.

This is why celebrities should stay out of economics and politics. Federal regulation on business has increased steadily over the past few decades. Furthermore, it's this regulation along with the government's special treatment in favor of certain corporations that has destroyed true "capitalism" and pushed our system increasingly towards socialism. The bailouts were a blatant example of this. The stupidity of the progressive position is that all our problems are caused by a "lack" of government intervention, when in reality, we have far too much intervention.
