Tourism “plummeted.”
LVCVA: 2026 visitation is running slightly ahead of 2025. Conventions up. Occupancy holding.
Rents in the Valley have been falling for more than a year.
This year is not a free-fall you get to pin on one press release.
A Nevada governor does not set U.S. tariff policy.
An AG who has been promising to “bring costs down” since Carson City 2013 does not get a do-over because Spirit parked the planes.
Enough of the same ad.

The Lombardo-Trump economy is devastating Nevada families, jobs, and businesses. The tariffs that Trump enacted and Joe Lombardo supports have caused prices to soar and tourism to plummet — destroying the ability of middle-class visitors to spend their money here in Nevada. Lombardo said that Nevadans need to “feel a little pain” from Trump’s tariffs, and for the past nineteen months that pain has been unrelenting. Enough.
As Governor, I’ll keep fighting Trump’s tariffs in every way possible and take immediate action to bring costs down for Nevada families and businesses.
