I am reading a rather horrific book on Treblinka extermination camp. Between July 1942 and August 1943 approximately 850,000 Polish Jews were murdered in gas chambers. That is a genocide. In 3 years of war 75,000 people in Gaza have died. The majority of them are Hamas fighters. Treblinka is 1 camp out of 5 extermination camps in Poland in which millions of Jews were systemically murdered for 4 years. To call what is happening in Gaza a tragedy or a war is fine. To call it a genocide is truly a blood libel and absolutely incongruent with what happened in occupied Poland in WW2. The fact my fellow Americans do it regularly astounds me.

I know a lot of you are following the Josh Cohen $AZRH saga. But, tonight is going to be a big one for scam oil companies in the Permian. This evening there will be a spaces call with @laralogan discussing the scam company $MMTLP. This company ran a huge scam touting oil reserves that never existed. Pumped their stock up telling people they would sell to Exxon. All fairytales. Many dry holes, and thousands of broke retail investors, later the UT Land System yanked their development agreement because the company 1) never established production resulting in sales and 2) never paid its minimum royalties and 3) did not fulfill its drilling obligations. I would imagine they will wax on about how the SEC screwed shareholders and won't talk to him. The reality is the SEC issued subpoenas. The principals, however, dumped their shares at high prices. Everyone in Midland with a brain understands that this was a scam built on a huge lie of billions of barrels of oil being recoverable. The truth is they never sold a single barrel. A huge group of moronic investors believe that the SEC is the bad guy and not the fake oil reserves.
