I can’t visit any of my friends in NYC and stay overnight because not one of them has a proper guest room. (And I’m not spending $500 per night for a hotel). Call me an elitist, but if you’re in your 50’s and financially well off and childless, grow up and get a guest room. Stop living like an animal because you think New York makes you interesting.

Beginning in February 2022, Daejon Labrayae Love, 35, and Taylor Jamie Chan, 18, created fictitious investments to defraud numerous women in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and California. Love met most of the women on the internet through dating apps. Love falsely portrayed himself as legitimately wealthy, often as an NFL player for the San Francisco 49ers or as a wealthy real estate investor. Chan falsely posed as Love’s financial adviser to further gain their victims’ trust. The scheme lasted until the day of Love and Chan’s arrests on August 24.
