This is from the Agri-Food section that has a potash focus.
A “pause” means nothing when we’re talking about projects worth hundreds of millions if not billions.
We lost a $1.5 billion dollar potash processing facility just last year because of this uncertainty.
The industrial carbon tax is projected to cost the Potash industry 1.3 billion 2025-2030.
All of that causes higher prices for you and for me and for 40 million other Canadians.

More media bias on display.
Conservatives made the point yesterday that Carney hasn’t actually gotten anything done.
They write glowing propaganda for the Liberal PM (who subsidizes them with YOUR money) and censors out the Conservative response.
Shameful.
A year and a half into Mark Carney’s government, 500 projects are still awaiting federal approval.
Yet yesterday we were treated to another “sweeping” new plan to get Canada building and we saw the media repeat the same spin.
We’ve heard this before. Carney already got sweeping new powers to fast-track projects. The results have not matched the rhetoric.
Andrew Scheer made those points to reporters yesterday. On camera. It was available. It was relevant. It was left out of evening news broadcasts.
Journalism is supposed to test government claims, not just transmit them.
How many grand announcements do we need before the lack of results becomes the headline?
