There are two critical principles in modern warfare: 1) Systems must work together; 2) We can never rely on just one supplier.
We are building these principles into FREYJA, our new European anti-ballistic missile defense system. This approach lets us combine systems from different European manufacturersβjust like Lego bricks. With alternatives, we have far more room to act, and we never become dependent on a single supplier or component.
These two principles are what make FREYJA different: A flexible, open architecture, with no remote kill switch and fully predictable performance. It gives us all confidence and control.
War keeps changing: new weapons, tactics and technologies keep appearing. An anti-ballistic defense system has to be able to evolve with those changes without being rebuilt from scratch each time. That is FREYJA's priority.
We do this collaboratively with the best actors in the defense sector. Our shared goal is to build a complete ecosystem that can protect Europe for the long term.
