Yes, but it doesn’t have to be this way. Arranging all of society around the bottom quartile is a choice made by liberal policymakers because, as mentioned above, they are preening, selfish narcissists.
This post is evergreen and legendary. People work hard to live in affluent suburbs and send their kids to private schools to insulate their families from the bottom quintile as much as humanly possible.

Totally agree. The whole approach is backwards when you look at incentives

That's why opposition to school choice is so disgusting. Middle class has always had school choice by virtue of having the means to chose a school by choosing where to live. The people without school choice are bottom quintile and their leftist leaders work to keep it that way.

I’m for making life as uncomfortable as possible for the bottom quintile. Nothing will motivate a lazy person like hunger. Stupidity should never be rewarded or you’ll just get more of it and criminality should bring the pain so that we get less of it.

Historically, we aimed to improve the bottom quartile rather than leaving them as they are. That’s the core of a number of religious movements throughout history.

The problem is keeping the bottom in classes; in the 60s we had autoshop, carpentry, etc and lots of "the bottom" were excellent not being in algebra II.

The policymakers know how to avoid the bottom quintile and arrange their lives accordingly: private schools, gated communities, private security.

The amazing part is we actively imported more for of these people. With hart Celler we took the bottom quintile and we doubled it and in the inner cities, where the wealth and taxes are large, we have turned quintiles into majorities. Hence, you get @ZohranKMamdani @AOC etc

Yes. We have built western society to accommodate and elevate the lazy and the underminers. You can blame John Rawls and his very wrong theory of justice which is taught as holy writ in the universities.

I think there's also greed in perpetuating extremes. Bezos says he wants anyone under $100k/year to pay no taxes. OK, well then you can write them off as mooches who should have no say in politics and tax them indirectly by lowering their wages.

1 Timothy 1:15-17 KJV [15] This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief. [16] Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering

We voted to deport the N-----SandSpics. Poor White people represent a fraction of 1 percent of this negative. There is nothing wrong with poor Whites. I intend to execute every White person who does not agree. @NickJFuentes @Bannons_WarRoom @mtgreenee @megynkelly @IngrahamAngle

These employers need to adjust their wages and benefits for the market they have, and pols shouldn't be bailing them out with foreign labor supported by taxpayers.

So is our education system. Knew a teacher who would get regular emails that a student would be joining his class and to please dumb down the class (they found a better way to put it), to accommodate that student.

Trump isn't deporting his donors' cheap labor, and is making sure they all get off the sidelines and work for them with the Medicaid work requirement. Because most able bodied Americans with Medicaid work now. Because they drove sustainable jobs out.
