6 months ago I tweeted that I was looking for young, hungry people willing to work 6/7 days a week, 12 hours a day.
I got a ton of inbound and ended up hiring 4 people who are all still with me today.
1 is 2 IC of ops/logistics
1 co-runs our performance marketing
1 is VP of growth, focused on community
1 is a valuable engineer/quant
What do they ALL have in common?
Work 7 days a week; avg 12 hrs/day (half on wknds)
Take an unbelievable amount of harsh criticism/feedback extremely well, learn fast and grow
Never complain, never put themselves before the business, truly believe they are building one of the largest global platforms for collectibles, gaming and spec in general
Most importantly, a “we can take on anything” mentality, never content and always hungry for more.
If you think that fits you here is what we need skill wise on team
1) someone to run the discord and make it fun … daily games, community prizes, IRL meet ups etc
2) someone to setup the dopest IRL events and experiences
3) good VIP hosts / customer acquisition focused people
