🎉 Finally ready to announce @appshotss 2.0 release!
This update comes with a lot of changes that completely re-designs how you use AppShots to create stunning store screenshots in minutes!
From an very intuitive and easy to use design editor to 3d frames, every user flow, every small interaction has been polished to give the best user experience, and stop you from double thinking about how to achieve something within the editor.
Here's a demo I've prepared that goes through most of the critical updates in this release. Give it a try, and I'm sure you'll love this new flow for designing store screenshots!
With these release, I'm also for the first time introducing students/indie-builders discount for AppShots! I believe everyone deserves good app store screenshots😄

@appshotss: A breath of fresh air🥳! Finally, I don't have to struggle with Appshots for the Play Store and Apple Store.
I had tried it and liked it in the past, but v2 is even more sophisticated🔥(custom templates, 3D frames, Figma-like sidebar, etc).

Finally got a proper text style formatting set up that allows me to format parts of a text differently in @appshotss
Makes use of @SuprDeclarative super_editor attributed texts for partial text selections/attributions, and some custom logic for making the text block editable on canvas!
This will unlock so many varied screenshot design opportunities!!🥹

Design and editing is gonna be so much easier and intuitive with these updates!
finally have an item interaction system on canvas that's powerful enough to handle most expected behaviours like dragging, resizing/scaling, rotating and overlapping items and their handles.
There were lots of edge cases🫠 but I think I got most of em for a good experience.

I'm also running a LTD for AppShots untill these updates launch by EOM.
Lifetime purchase reduced from 45$ -> 25$ until then to support the development. But rest assured these updates are gonna be dropping by then.🙌
Something's brewing up! And got some new updates dropping EOM. This updates will totally overhaul the ui/ux to make it so much better than it was, and also include latest phone frames, v1 support for AI agents workflows and 3d frames, user design assets!

It's painful. My last approach was using device_preview package. I think I had to fork it to add some screen sizes... and then I load them into @appshotss. It's still a lot of effort.

I’ve been setting up an iPhone, an iPad simulator, my old Android device, and two different android simulators for the different tablet sizes. It’s 💯 a hassle. I think I’ll just take iPhone and iPad snapshots from now on and put them into @appshotss
