UPDATE:
I’m so happy to announce that I got biopsy results back today for Loomer the bulldog and the tumor was benign.
Loomer had surgery 10 days ago and the results finally came back. There was a delay due to the vet being closed a few days because of the hurricane.
The vet said Loomer had a benign fibrolipoma, which is a non-cancerous soft-tissue tumor made of mature fat cells (adipocytes) mixed with a significant amount of fibrous connective tissue.
I’m so relieved to know my dog doesn’t have cancer. Just a few more days and she will be able to get her stitches removed!

Loomer the Bulldog is doing really well post surgery. She’s been resting and sleeping following her surgery and her stitches get to come out in 2 weeks. We should know in 2 days whether or not the tumor is cancerous.
Thank you for asking. Hoping she makes a full recovery and lives several more years. Bulldogs don’t live very long, but I take very good care of her so I’m hoping she is the exception to the rule.

Loomer the bulldog just went into surgery moments ago to have her tumor removed. Soon we will find out if it’s cancer, but I wanted to thank everyone who sent positive thoughts, prayers and well wishes for Loomer. Thank you to my supporters in the crypto community as well who surprised me and made a coin for Loomer to cover the cost of her surgery completely unprompted.
That was so thoughtful and generous of you. It’s truly unbelievable how kind strangers online can be, and I will be sure to pay it forward.
