at first I thought @Zeccatnft was just another 3,333 PFP collection trying to catch the Zcash NFT wave then I looked a bit deeper... interesting part isn't really the cats they're building around ZRC-721 inscriptions with a separate NFT Vault, portfolio, non-custodial marketplace... and eventually tools for launching other collections Vault idea makes particular sense on a UTXO chain - keep NFT-carrying outputs separate from your normal payment activity instead of treating everything like ordinary spendable UTXOs none of that makes ZecCat a guaranteed winner though team is still anonymous, mint date and price are TBA, and most of the infrastructure beyond the WL isn't live yet but the WL is open now, costs nothing to apply and doesn't require connecting or signing with your wallet so for me this is one of those cases where getting early access costs almost nothing... while the real decision can wait until they show more

Arc mainnet just went live... so I've been digging through some of the projects showing up around the ecosystem one that caught my eye early - @Arctrons404 they're positioning themselves as the first ERC-404 collection on Arc - 6,666 "machines", with 6 models and 19 ticker traits and now the mint details are out: → 6,666 supply → mint - September 16 at 16:00 UTC → whitelist - 3.5 USDC → public - 6 USDC, if allocation is still available → wallet checker - live mint page - coming soon what makes it more interesting than another NFT mint is the ERC-404 angle - a hybrid structure combining fungible token mechanics with NFTs and native fractionalization still very early, and there's not enough public information yet for me to call anything beyond that but that's exactly why I'm putting it on the radar before the mint rather than after it just a few hours left... let's see how this one plays out

traders should keep this one on their radar @DeriveXYZ proposes to close its own chain and move V3 to a zkVM architecture with settlement on the Ethereum mainnet according to Derive itself, the protocol already accounts for about 95% of on-chain options premium volume over the past 30 days and has around $2 billion in open options interest in V3, custody and proof verification transition to Ethereum L1, Celestia is used for DA, and DRV plans to connect to Robinhood Chain that is, instead of further developing their own appchain, one of the largest on-chain options platforms is proposing to move settlement back to Ethereum proposal has not been approved yet... but it's definitely worth keeping an eye on 👀
