However, Sir, even today, when traveling by train, one has to either prepare food in advance or order it online—options that are often too expensive for many people. The existing railway canteens neither serve good quality food nor maintain proper hygiene standards. You have advanced us in so many areas and introduced new trains; I request you to please consider the issue of canteen food as well. I have an excellent idea that would improve canteen food while also benefiting the railways. My concept involves a wide range of food items; it could generate profits up to eight times greater than those from 'Rail Neer.' It would also create numerous new jobs, inspiring the youth, and help us take another step into a new era. My proposed food concept caters to everyone, from the youth to the older generation, ensuring that passengers can get most of the things they desire—such as Maggi, pizza, burgers, chili cheese toast, and garlic bread. For breakfast, there would be healthy options like milk, protein-rich foods, and salads. Main course options would include dishes like Chole, Paneer, Dal Makhani, Dal Tadka, and Rajma. A variety of coffees—such as cold coffee, hazelnut coffee, cappuccino, latte, and hot chocolate—would also be available. This initiative would greatly benefit the railways.
