🧵 1/2 Ever received a token you didn’t expect after a cross-chain swap? 👀 Sometimes the route reaches the destination chain, but the final swap into your requested token can’t be completed safely — for example because of slippage or available liquidity.

Past: In Squid, all eligible Republic participants received an allocation. Today: Jumper has a different opportunity, with 5% of the sale allocated to The Republic. Same community, different sale — so I’m treating the Squid result as context, not a prediction. @legiondotcc

1/5 A swap doesn’t always feel like the end of the journey. Sometimes the next question is: “Okay, I have the asset now. What are my options?” That’s the gap Jumper is trying to connect with Earn.

Jumper's Loyalty Pass is evergreen. Here's what that means in practice 🧭 A short campaign has a start and a finish line. You race for points, the board resets, and next time everyone starts from zero. Jumper ran the Loyalty Pass that way at first, in seasons, to bring new users in. Then it said "seasons end here" and turned the pass into an ongoing system. As a timeline: Before mid-2024: seasons, each with an end date Mid-2024: seasons end and the pass becomes evergreen Now: activity turns into XP month by month, and it keeps adding up On top: short missions like Katana's Shogun Season in January 2026, with their own rewards, while the pass keeps running underneath My own record is the clearest example I have. I've used Jumper in each of the last 22 months, and none of it disappeared when a campaign ended. A quiet month adds nothing, but it doesn't erase the months before it. XP is a record of use. It isn't a promise of tokens or of any sale allocation. Disclosure: rewarded campaign

Think of the Jumper sale allocation as 100 equal parts. 🟦🟦🟦🟦🟦 🟦🟦🟦🟦🟦 🟦🟦🟦🟦🟦 🟦🟦🟦🟦🟦 🟦🟦🟦🟦🟦 🟦🟦🟦🟦🟦 🟦🟦🟦🟦🟦 🟦🟦🟦🟦🟦 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 95 parts = the rest of the sale allocation 5 parts = The Republic’s community allocation For the $JUMP sale, Jumper reserved 5% of the allocation for The Republic. That’s 5 out of every 100 parts of the sale allocation—not 5% of token supply or revenue. The 5 parts are a reserved pool; how they’re distributed among Republic members is determined by Jumper and The Republic, and participation does not guarantee an allocation. Say I need to pay a freelancer in USDC, and I don’t care which chain it lands on. Today that means picking a network, finding a bridge, then swapping on the other side. An asset-first interface flips it: I say what I want, and the app finds the route. Jumper’s own write-up says each route shows gas, provider fees, slippage, the bridge/DEX used and estimated time. jumper.xyz/learn/jumper What I’d still check before confirming: the destination network. The right token on the wrong chain can mean a lost payment. Part of a Republic campaign earning participation rewards. @legiondotcc @jumperapp #TheRepublic

short campaign can feel like a sprint: Day 1 → earn XP → campaign ends → start over Jumper’s Loyalty Pass takes a different approach. It’s designed as an evergreen, ongoing system, so your engagement with Jumper can continue building over time rather than being tied to a new season. Jumper For me, the useful distinction is simple: a campaign measures what you did during a specific window, while an evergreen loyalty system recognizes participation as a longer-term journey. XP is a record of participation and can be connected to perks and rewards; it should not be treated as a promise of tokens or sale eligibility. Jumper +1 Disclosure: This post is part of a Republic campaign earning participation rewards.

Today’s VP can still matter after a campaign ends. For example, if I keep some VP unspent and a future Legion sale allows Republic VP to be used, those available points could potentially give me another way to participate. The important part: VP rules, eligibility, and allocation mechanics can change between campaigns, so I wouldn’t treat today’s balance as a guaranteed future benefit. My everyday analogy for Jumper: sitting down to organise your money. Three jobs, each answering a different question: Swap — “How do I get the right money to the right place?” Like exchanging currency and moving funds between accounts. On Jumper, that means swapping tokens and bridging across supported chains. Earn — “What could I do with money I’m not using?” Like comparing options before assigning part of your budget. Earn helps you discover DeFi opportunities and compare factors such as asset, protocol, APY and TVL. A higher displayed yield still needs a closer look at the risks. Portfolio — “Where did everything go?” Like updating your household ledger. It brings supported positions across chains into one view so you can keep track after putting funds to work. Source: LI.FI’s official Jumper product walkthrough, May 11, 2026: li.fi/knowledge-hub/how-jump… Disclosure: this post is part of a Republic campaign earning participation rewards. I’d explore Earn first. I already use Jumper regularly to move assets; comparing opportunities for idle USDC would be a useful next step, starting with how each vault works and how I could withdraw.

I noticed a useful detail in Jumper’s Swap & Bridge: “Send to wallet” lets you enter an address or wallet domain, or choose from Recent, Connected, and Bookmarked wallets. The diagram shows where to find it. Source: jumper.xyz

The Republic’s Jumper campaign includes a 5% community allocation. What can a newcomer contribute today? Try the live “Fermah is Live” raid: read the source post, like it, and write a specific reply about its beta exit and community launch. Submit your reply URL plus a readable screenshot of the like. That gives reviewers evidence of an actual contribution instead of an empty “done.” The raid lists 10 VP on approval and a 5 VP supply cost to join. Submitting proof starts review; it does not mean the VP is already approved. I completed this raid today and its status changed to Completed. Campaign participation does not automatically approve a Jumper sale application or guarantee an allocation. The Republic’s @jumperapp community allocation is 5% of the sale’s maximum raise cap. If you’re arriving today and wondering where to start, one useful contribution can be quite small. Take an open Jumper education raid. There’s currently a thread discussing how Jumper brings different onchain workflows into one interface. A helpful reply could check one feature mentioned in that thread against the official product documentation, then explain what’s available today and what is still planned. That’s the kind of detail I’d want as a newcomer: a clear answer, the source, and enough context to check it myself. Start from the raid listing in The Republic, check its deadline and entry cost, and follow the brief. Submit your actual reply URL and the required screenshot before the timer ends. Review is what connects that contribution to VP. Posting or submitting alone doesn’t earn the reward; the proof needs approval. If corrections are requested, address the feedback. Earning VP also doesn’t automatically approve a Jumper sale application or guarantee an allocation. Sale eligibility and allocation decisions remain separate. Guide: republic.legion.cc/docs/camp… Example discussed: x.com/Telchar91/status/21058…
Executing cross-chain trades usually means juggling half a dozen browser tabs—one for bridging, another for DEX swaps, a third for perpetuals, and more for yield tracking. It’s fragmented, inefficient, and slow. 1/4

The Jumper sale on Legion does not hand every Republic member 5%. Jumper reserved 5% of its Legion allocations as a community pool for The Republic. That pool is shared. Your slice, if any, depends on eligibility and how the sale actually assigns tokens. Legion has said participation does not guarantee an allocation. How the pool works: eligible members earn Valor Points by finishing missions. Each VP is one entry in a randomized draw for a chance at $JUMP, not a fixed claim. Think of it as raffle tickets for a reserved pot, not a 5% paycheck. First step if you’re new: open The Road at republic.legion.cc/, sign in, and hit Continue on the current stop. That starts the activity in front of you instead of scrolling the whole map.

How simple swap is not that simple,as it looks? If a swap and bridge route quotes 1,000 USDC → 0.50 ETH, that 0.50 ETH is an estimate based on the route and current conditions. If the market moves while the transaction executes, slippage can affect the final amount received. 🙄
