A friendly update for TCY stakers on Rujira. The @AutoRujira team has transferred management of the TCY auto-compounder to the Rujira team, using the same improved staking contract version as RUJI and bRUNE. As part of this transfer, the fee has changed from 5% to 10% of compounded rewards, bringing it in line with bRUNE. With this step we have one more staking product closer into our ecosystem. To the AutoRujira community, I never imagined I would have to write this message. After years of building AutoRujira, I’ve made the difficult decision to bring this project to a close. Auto has been far more than just a project for me. It’s been a huge part of my life. I’ve poured years of work, passion, and hope into it, together with an incredible team and a community that believed in what we were trying to build. Throughout this journey, we went through so much together. From Kujira to Rujira and THORChain, we faced market cycles, ecosystem changes, technical challenges, and countless obstacles. No matter what, we kept moving forward, always believing we could make it work. Unfortunately, this time, we couldn’t. We also have to acknowledge that the landscape has changed. The rapid democratization of AI has made it increasingly easy to build and interact with automated DeFi solutions, weakening part of the moat we originally saw for AutoRujira. That doesn’t make the problem we set out to solve any less relevant, but it does change the opportunity and our position within it. I still believe the vision behind AutoRujira makes sense. I believe automated DeFi will eventually become the standard. But I also believe there comes a moment when you have to accept reality. As painful as it is, sometimes the right decision is to step aside and focus your energy where it can have the most impact. Today, we no longer have the team, the resources, or the energy required to continue building Auto in the way this community deserves. Rather than making promises I can’t keep, I would rather end this chapter with honesty and respect. I also want to apologize for my silence these last few days. I needed time to process this decision and think carefully about how to communicate it. I didn’t want to speak until I knew exactly what the next steps would be. Most importantly, thank you. Thank you to everyone who staked, used the product, reported bugs, shared ideas, spread the word, or simply believed in us from the start. Your support has meant more than you probably realize. A special thank you to the Rujira team for everything. You’re not only great at what you do, but more importantly, you’re great people. It’s been a privilege to work alongside you. And to my team: thank you for your constant support, effort, and resilience through everything we’ve been through. None of this would have been possible without you guys. What happens next We have already withdrawn the remaining protocol liquidity (~12.6k USDC already sent to the DAO: dao.daodao.zone/thor1ervurpr…) and will distribute it proportionally among AUTO stakers based on a snapshot taken at block 27396376. I’ll publish the full details of the distribution process and timeline shortly, so everything is handled transparently and fairly. Regarding the existing AutoRujira products: - TCY Auto-Compounder will continue to operate normally. It is based on the Rujira Staking contract and is already fully integrated into the Rujira UI and API, with no additional operational overhead required from AutoRujira. The contract admin will be transferred to the Rujira team. - AutoClaimer will be discontinued. It requires significant ongoing operational overhead and has also been causing some issues with the Rujira UI. The auto-claim option will therefore be removed from the RUJI Trade and Staking pages. If you currently have automations running, you don’t need to do anything — they will simply stop working by the end of the week. This isn’t the ending I hoped for when this journey began, but I hope it’s an ending that reflects the values we’ve always tried to uphold: honesty, responsibility, and respect for the people who placed their trust in us. 4. @Chainflip is probably the closest architectural match to @RujiraNetwork. Both use threshold signature vaults. Both enable native asset swaps without wrapping. Chainflip has processed over $3B in volume and is now building native BTC lending. The difference is scope and depth of the product stack. Here is how it works: you deposit your $TCY, receive $sTCY in return, and the contract handles everything from there. Every ~24 hours, it claims your $RUNE rewards, converts them into more $TCY via RUJI Trade, and reinvests them into your position automatically. No manual claiming. No tracking prices. Just compounding yield, set and forget. Within the first day of TCY staking going live on Rujira, over 1 million $TCY was deposited.

THORChain Incident Update #6 The next major step in the recovery process is now underway. Validators are being asked to review, approve, and prepare for the v3.19.0 upgrade, which contains the TSS security patches and ADR028 implementation designed to address the economic impact of the hack. One of the key additions in this release is a new mechanism that allows the network to quarantine compromised vaults. This ensures affected vaults can no longer participate in transaction processing while the network maintains full visibility over their activity. The recovery plan is as follows: 1/ Vote to approve release 3.19.0. 2/ Upgrade the network on Monday. 3/ Enable the Compromised Vault mimir to quarantine the compromised vault. 4/ Validate the ADR-028 store migration. 5/ Verify the integrity of every node's keyshares via the new temporary keyverify protocol. 6/ Unhalt signing. 7/ Initiate the churn. 8/ Wait for churn to finish 9/ Unhalt Secured and Trade assets 10/ Unhalt LP actions 11/ Unhalt trading If approved by validators, the upgrade is expected to begin tomorrow, bringing the network one step closer to a full restart.
