It's the following position: White wins in 584 moves. The winning move is unique. Interestingly, Stockfish 18 finds the correct move, but only gives +0.7
Do we know the new forced-mate-in-X record from this data set?

*Start of Mad Men episode* Pete: Santa? Not real? That's ridiculous! Then who EATS the cookies? *End of episode* Don: Santa, uhh, took me to the North Pole... In his sleigh. I met the reindeer, the elves. *sighing* He asked if I had been good this year but he knew Peggy: Jesus...

I dont really see the point in openings like that and I will certainly not do that
Are you planning to play any meme opening in the GCL Tournament for example Bongcloud/Alien Gambit or maybe a newly invented Surprise Meme opening by the World Champion himself? #AMAwithGukesh

The only way to learn math is to do problems. All else is entertainment.
I love 3Blue1Brown. I will rewatch any of those videos infinity times. I don't think I've ever learned/retained anything from one though, and I'm suspicious of people who point to it as a superior learning resource. (Not a knock on 3B1B; truly an amazing achievement).

This quote resonated especially strongly with me. I know Naroditsky’s speedrun series played an important role in the development of my chess logic. The other adults at the chess center are subscribed and have his playlist saved. The youngsters play his opening recommendations.
💔 Eloquent educator, remarkably talented chess player, and Grandmaster impressionist are a few ways I'll remember Daniel Naroditsky. "To live in hearts we leave behind is not to die.” -Thomas Campbell

Some of them will go on to become masters and will have students of their own. There will be a generation of chess players whose decision making will reflect the educational efforts of Naroditsky. We are all lucky to have been students.

We are deeply saddened by the unexpected passing of Grandmaster Daniel Naroditsky. Daniel was not only a friend of the Saint Louis Chess Club, but a gifted player, educator, and beloved pillar of the chess community. His passion for the game and commitment to teaching inspired countless players around the world. He will be missed by all who knew him.  We hold his family and loved ones close to heart during this difficult time.  Rex, Jeanne and the Saint Louis Chess Campus

One lesson of DOGE is that a lot of federal govt spending is sent to old ppl (social security, Medicare) and affluent individuals/orgs (defense, health spending) but the spending with the highest “lives saved per dollar spent” tends to go to v poor people or to scientists working on ignored diseases So if you’re trying to slash govt spending without upsetting old/affluent interests you’re (a) going to fail to find meaningful cuts and (b) inevitably gutting some of the most life-giving programs. (And that’s bad.)

This isn't a "myth" - it is based on what *actually happens* when states have imposed work requirements. When states have imposed work requirements in the past, most of the people who lose their health insurance were working.
