Yuleball - PREVIEW Thank you so much for all the support! 💚🐍 Thanks to everyone who has donated, Malfoid can keep going, and hopefully we can make this project bigger and better than we ever expected. If you'd like to help us create more scenes like this, you can support the project on Patreon. Every contribution goes toward keeping it alive and improving what we can create. patreon.com/HistoriasImpact/… And please read the first pinned comment below. I left a longer message there about the future of Malfoid and what your support could make possible. First of all, I want to thank everyone who has decided to support this project. Because of you, Malfoid can continue. From the very beginning, the goal was never to make money from this. The idea was much simpler and, perhaps, a little ridiculous: to take a trend born on the internet and actually bring it to life. To explore a different version of a story that was already great, but that, strangely enough, works incredibly well with this one little change. Originally, we only needed to reach a specific amount to get the credits necessary to continue making the next videos. But more and more people have decided to support the project. And if this keeps growing, I want that support to go right back into making the project better. And I want to be very clear about what that means: If the support and budget grow, the goal is not simply to use more AI. The goal is to hire people. Artists, musicians, animators, voice actors, and other creators who can bring their own talent to the project, especially for the things that AI simply cannot do properly. AI gave us the opportunity to start. It allowed one person with an idea and a limited budget to finally put that idea on screen. But if this community gives the project the resources to go beyond that, then I want those resources to also be used to hire real artists and pay them for their work. In other words: The bigger this project becomes, the more human I want it to become. Better animation. Original music. Human artists. Professional animators. Voice actors. More people bringing their own creativity and talent into this strange alternate reality. AI opened the door. If you help us go further, I want people to be the ones who walk through it. So, sincerely, thank you to everyone who has donated, shared the videos, left comments, or simply stuck around to see what the hell we do next. This can continue because of you. And if someday this gets MUCH bigger... Well. I just hope Rowling DOESN'T give us her blessing. Because if that happens... I think we're going to need a much bigger budget. 😂

A quick note about the future of this project! 🐍 I honestly didn't expect this much support. Thank you so much to everyone who's helping fund the project. I want to be transparent about what happens with that support: the money raised here will be reinvested into making these videos. When the current AI subscription expires, I'll purchase a new plan based on how much we've raised. If the project grows beyond what I can reasonably handle on my own, I'll also consider hiring artists, editors, voice actors, or other people who can help us take it to a much more ambitious level. The goal isn't for me to pocket the support and keep doing everything alone. The bigger the community makes this, the more resources I'll put back into it. For now, we're making the Yule Ball. After that... we'll see how far you crazy Slytherin Investors want to take this thing. 😂🐍 Seriously, thank you. I didn't expect any of this. patreon.com/HistoriasImpact/… #HarryPotter #HarryPotterAU #Malfoid

Now that Paramount owns Warner Bros./HBO... should we tag them into oblivion? 😂 Maybe it's time they see just how huge this has gotten, and just how badly people want one thing: A HARRY POTTER ANIME WITH A FEMALE MALFOY! Come on, @ParamountPics . The people have spoken. 🐍⚡

OMG! Guys, some of you actually joined the Patreon and we already reached enough support to start working on the Yule Ball adaptation NOW! 😭🐍❤️ Seriously, thank you. I wasn't expecting us to reach the 180,000-credit plan this quickly. Let's see what happens over the weekend. If more people want to join and support the project, I'll see just how ambitious I can make this adaptation. But the important part is: the Yule Ball project is happening. POTTAH is going to the ball. 😂 Apparently, two Slytherin Investors actually showed up. I created that tier as a joke. You absolute madmen. 😂🐍 #HarryPotterAU #Malfoid #Malfoy #HarryPotter #LETSGO

Rowling isn't going to rewrite the entire saga, but the fans certainly will, LOL!
royalroad.com/fiction/196222… Alright, the Sorcerer's Stone book is now done with Malfoid in it, and I'll be moving on to the second book now. Should have this done pretty quick as well but we'll see. Art by @ratatatat74

patreon.com/HistoriasImpact/… Guys, if you’d like to support this project and help me keep making short films like this, you can voluntarily support me on Patreon. Memberships start at just $3/month: $3/month — Lealtad Impact: Simply support my projects. $5/month — Malfoid Enjoyer: Support my work + get posts and updates on the creative process. $10/month — POTTAH!: Extra support + previews and behind-the-scenes content. $20/month — Slytherin Investor 😂: For those who really want to help cover production and generation costs. I’m not looking to make money from Malfoid. My goal is simply to cover the cost of the AI tools and credits required to create these videos. The first video alone consumed almost my entire monthly credit allowance, mostly because AI generation involves a lot of trial and error. Sometimes a scene works perfectly on the first try. Sometimes POTTAH suddenly grows an extra arm and there goes another generation. 😂 Those failed attempts still consume credits. So if you enjoyed the video and want to see more stories like it, your support would help give me the resources and creative freedom to keep experimenting and making bigger, better projects. Supporting is completely optional. Watching, commenting, sharing the videos, or simply being part of this little corner of the fandom already means a lot to me. But if you do decide to become a Patreon member: Thank you for helping me keep the magic going. ⚡🐍💚

I also want to set a clear deadline for this. If we haven’t raised enough support to move forward with the project by October 25th, I’ll consider the project closed. Anyone who supported specifically because they wanted to help make these videos possible will be able to request a refund of their contribution. I don’t want anyone supporting something that ultimately can’t be made. If we reach the goal, we move forward. If we don’t, we call it there. Simple and fair.

Okay guys, here’s the situation. I originally bought an Artlist.io subscription to make trailers for my book. I thought October was going to be my last month, so I used my tokens to make this Malfoid video. Turns out I was wrong. I still have one more month, which means my subscription actually runs until November. The problem is that, for this month, I’m basically out of credits. My current 80,000-credit plan was pretty much consumed by this video alone. Why? Because AI makes mistakes, and when that happens, you don’t get those credits back. You have to generate the scene again, fix the prompt, and hope it works the next time. So, if you guys want me to make something else, for example, an adaptation of the Yule Ball fanfic created by @spookyh8r I absolutely can. But I would have to be extremely careful not to make any mistakes, which, and I want to be completely straightforward about this again, is… IMPOSSIBLE! More than one prompt is going to go wrong. That’s just going to happen. However, if you’d like to support me, we could do it through a Kickstarter to raise enough money for me to upgrade the plan. With the 180,000-credit plan, I could adapt the fanfic comfortably and even make it more interesting with a few additions of my own. With 240,000 credits, I could turn it into something closer to a special anime episode, around 40 minutes or a little longer. And with 500,000 credits… I could go completely insane and make a Malfoid version of the final chapter of the story, covering the Battle of Hogwarts and giving Harry and Malfoid their own ending. And for that last option, we’d only need about $190. Although I’m thinking of setting the goal at around $250. Why the extra $60? WHISKEY, WHAT ELSE?! I work better with a little alcohol in my coffee. I’m kidding. The funds would go toward the project. I’ll buy my own damn whiskey. But hey, if we actually manage to pull this off, I’m getting myself a good bottle. So, what do you guys think? Would you be willing to support this? POTTAH Cinematic Universe funded by people who desperately need these two idiots to kiss. #Malfoid #Malfoy #Harrypotter #HarryPotterAU

Guys, we all know this Malfoid trend isn’t going to last forever. A month, maybe two at most, and things will go back to normal once the hype dies down, just in time for the new HBO series. But let me ask you this: Did you like the video I made? Would you like me to make more? Because I absolutely can. But if I’m going to keep making them, I’d need the support of everyone who’s interested. #Malfoy #Malfoid #HarryPotter #HarryPotterAU

I think I’m starting to understand why the whole Malfoid phenomenon hit like a freight train. And I think it has a lot to do with those of us who grew up watching the Harry Potter movies, waiting year after year for the next one. Yes, the books are much more extensive. They develop characters, relationships, and situations that the movies could barely touch on. That’s not even up for debate. But for many of us, our experience with Harry Potter came mainly through the movies. And there, if I’m being sincere, Harry’s romances never really felt completely natural. Cho appeared, and suddenly she was his love interest. Ginny was always there, but when the time came to turn her into Harry’s great romance, for those of us who had only watched the movies, it almost felt as though several pages were missing between one scene and the next. Even Luna would have made a little more sense. And then someone did something as simple as changing Malfoy’s gender. And everything changed. Because Draconia was no longer just the rival. Suddenly, there was another story hidden inside the one we had known all along. Seven books and eight movies about Harry and Voldemort could also become the story of two children growing up together. Like an hourglass, every encounter, every fight, every insult, and every year at Hogwarts allowed another tiny grain of sand to fall. He was a boy who had only just discovered the magical world. She was a girl who had been raised to despise everything he represented. She was taught that she was supposed to hate him. And she couldn’t. I think that’s a big part of why so many people became so invested in this, especially men. Because it doesn’t just transform Harry Potter. It feeds a fantasy that is much simpler and far more human: To experience a beautiful romance in the middle of an extraordinary life. And maybe that’s why stories like these captivate us so deeply. I actually like The Lord of the Rings more than Harry Potter. But there’s something fantasy can offer us that our everyday lives rarely can. Because life on this side of reality can be, in one word, boring. Monotonous. Of course, there are good things. There are beautiful places. I have my motorcycle, I go to the gym, I can cook something delicious, and there are plenty of things I enjoy about my life. But millions of other people can ride a motorcycle, work out, or cook a great meal too. There’s no castle waiting for us when we turn eleven. We don’t discover that another world has been hiding behind our own. And chances are, we won’t meet someone who started out as our childhood rival, grew up alongside us, and after years of fighting and clashing, somehow became the love of our life. Then a story like this comes along and touches something that had been sleeping inside us for years. Not necessarily because we want to be Harry Potter. Maybe it’s simply because, for a little while, we get to glimpse the kind of story we would have loved to live ourselves. Or maybe because we get to return to a story we loved as children and ask ourselves: What if it had ended differently?
I was bored, so here's some malfoid angst

Finally, I would like to address a few words to Ms @jk_rowling , in the hope that perhaps, somehow, they might reach her. Ms. Rowling, I am aware that over the past several years you have found yourself at the center of countless controversies and debates. I have no intention of entering into any of them. But when I first began writing and joined Twitter many years ago, I remember you being much closer to us, the fans. And I think I can speak for many when I say that we miss you. I know that the relationship between you and part of the fandom has changed tremendously over the years. But there is also another part of it that still holds a great deal of affection for you and, every now and then, would simply like to know that you are still there. That you still believe in the magic. You never created Malfoy as a girl, nor did you imagine this story that so many fans are now enjoying. But look at what the fandom has built from that little question: “What if...?” None of this would have been possible without the world and the magic you created and shared with us. A magic that many of us first discovered when we were children, and that, somehow, is still with us today. I am 34 years old now. I was 10 when I watched the first Harry Potter film. And I was 11 when I read The Chamber of Secrets because I simply couldn’t wait for the next movie to find out what happened next. More than twenty years have passed since then. And, like so many others who are still here, I can still look at Hogwarts and feel a little bit of that wonder again. Thank you for giving us that world.

Damn!!!
Malfoy had looked beautiful all night. She still did, even after the dancing, after the food. They'd had an amazing time. Now, however, they were quiet. They had been since beginning the long walk back toward the Slytherin common room. There was a strange pressure between them that seemed to intensify with every corridor they passed and every staircase they descended. Neither mentioned it. Finally they reached the dungeons and stopped before the stretch of bare stone wall concealing the entrance to the Slytherin common room. Malfoy turned to face Harry. Then immediately lost her nerve and looked away. Her eyes eventually found her shoes. Her expensive white shoes. One of them still bore a faint mark where Weasley had stepped on it after she'd been generous enough to offer him a dance. Club-footed oaf. She shifted her weight from one foot to the other and began fidgeting with her hands. She gathered some courage. “Well, go on then.” She said as she lifted her head, closed her eyes and pursed her lips. “What?” “Kiss me, you idiot.” Harry went red and failed to move a muscle. “I won't have it said that I went to the Yule Ball and wasn't even kissed.” Harry hesitated, then leaned forward and kissed her gently on the forehead. Her eyes opened. “My forehead?” She stared at him. “Are you touched in the head?” “Here, Potter!” she almost spat his name, pointing to her lips. “Malfoy, I—” She stamped her foot. “Kiss me, Harry!” she exclaimed. Her voice cracked. She sounded petulant now. And he did. Awkwardly. Harry missed her lips slightly in his nervousness, catching more of the corner of her mouth than he'd intended. His glasses bumped against her face. And then, much too quickly, it was over. They separated. Malfoy giggled. The sound escaped before she could stop it. Her eyes widened. She immediately looked up and down the corridor to make certain no one had heard. Then she looked back at Harry. He was standing exactly where she'd left him, staring at her with a dumb, bewildered expression. She noticed his glasses. There was a small smudge on one lens where they'd pressed against her face. She reached up. “Honestly, Potter.” She rubbed the lens with her thumb. The tiny smudge spread across nearly the entire thing. Malfoy stared at her handiwork. “Well…” She cleared her throat. “Good night, Potter.” She turned crisply on her heel and marched through the entrance to the Slytherin common room without looking back.
