SIBERIAN HUSKY ALLEGEDLY TAKEN HOSTAGE AND KILLED IN WASHINGTON, DC. Three DMV residents are facing federal charges after prosecutors say they stole a man's Siberian Husky and used the dog as leverage in a dispute over a vehicle. Federal prosecutors allege Antwon Sockwell, 36, of D.C.; Keith Packer, 35, of Suitland; and Tierra Love, 38, of Suitland threatened the victim and stole his dog. After the victim refused to turn over the vehicle without getting his dog back, prosecutors allege Packer texted him “anything you wanna say last?” Minutes later, authorities allege the Husky was shot in the head in a Southeast D.C. alley and killed. U.S. Attorney @JudgeJeanine says “These defendants terrorized the victim, and took hostage and executed his innocent dog as part of a calculated scheme to extort him.” The three face federal charges including animal crushing, conspiracy, extortion-related communications and stalking.
