People who post shit like this should be obligated to post their character stats.

L take. There's more soul in a Morrowind "woosh" than in the entirety of most modern RPGs.

all of this is true and Morrowind is still the best one in the series including the fact that it would crash reliably once per hour

So you chose to use a weapon your character wasn’t proficient with so you can dishonestly attack Morrowind.

Name "RPG Enjoyer", complaining about RPG gameplay where stats matter more than skill.

>fatigue You do know the instructions literally explained this, right? I get that modern gamers expect a forced tutorial every game actively pointing everything out, but its not exactly hidden information.

Fails to manage stamina. Most likely uses weapon he's intrained for since you are using armor you are untrained for. Stiff camera movemwnt indicates a controller. Shows combat when talking about quest markers. Yup, this is one of the most retarded posts I've seen here lately.

I played morrowind for the first time this year (still playing it), and while it is easy to make fun of, it's kind of still a masterpiece.

If you can’t hit things in Morrowind I’m gonna call it skill issue and you play baby games and are not as smart as me sorry

>starts combat with no stamina >Uses a long blade when they didn't pick long blade as a major skill, meaning they only has 5 points in long blade There's a reason complaints about Morrowinds combat only ever are shown in this region of the game.

This is why I'm a mage in every game because I can hop from one side of the map to the other. Also, idk what it is, but old games vibe can be so peak.

Yeah, RPGs should involve dice-rolls, especially in combat. If your character isn't trained with using Short Blades then they're gonna suck at hitting enemies with them. Morrowind actually expects you to use your brain instead of just auto-piloting.

morrowind takes skill and brainpower to play, a lot more engaging than a lot of modern rpgs. would be cool to see a remaster with modern graphics/animations but with the same combat system

I have played all 3 and like them. But there is much more of a real world feeling to Morrowind then Skyrim. Skyrim begins to feel like seeing the exact same 10-15 things over and over. I always enjoyed the Morrowind combat system.

Morrowind in early 2000 casual slop, play Daggerfall.

Anyone who complains about Morrowind gameplay is self-reporting that they only played the game for 15 minutes and quit immediately Worth noting, he's playing a Breton, which has no long blade skill bonus. He likely has a shitty build on purpose to make the combat look worse.

Congrats on the killer post. my favourite feature of morrowind is how the skilling system works in reverse. at the low levels you barely getting any hits or success, so it takes ages to get leveled up. but yet by level 50 it start to skyrocket. I loved making a unarmed fighter.

Morrowind is a serene experience, enthralling the player from they step off the ship in Seyda Neen, weaving stories around them, giving tidbits of information, revealing a grander picture, all the while letting the player soak the atmosphere and enjoy the game at a fair pace.

dude even with a shit ton of mods to make the experience a bit more modern i really just could not play this game. i'm sure it has its charm for people, obviously it does, a lot of people enjoy it. i just could not get into it whatsoever. i've tried several times over the past decade. just not happening.
