That creates an interesting difference between having a token and having a network utility asset. If an ecosystem has only one place where a token can be used, its utility is naturally limited. But if applications, financial products, social experiences, games and other services begin using the same asset, every new product can potentially create another reason to interact with it. InterLink is now saying something even bigger: ITLG should eventually be more active in transaction volume than ITL, with a larger holder base and greater accessibility. That is a project direction—not something we can call achieved yet. And there is another important part of the announcement. InterLink says that once ITLG becomes transferable, it plans to continue expanding Digital Asset Treasury partners and use part of its reserves for ITLG buybacks and burns. It also says ITLX-generated revenue is intended to be used for ITLG buybacks and burns, similar to the model it referenced with HYPE. So the real test isn't the announcement itself.
