Without meaning to wind up #cpfc fans what on earth are you protesting? Banners, really? As an #FFC fan I’ve been nothing but envious of your cup wins and European journeys of late. We’ve never won a major trophy. You’ve done it all recently and now you lot want to kick off?
I love that we’re doing this protest and apparently a banner tomorrow at Fulham.

Hi @MartinSLewis Just to be clear please. Is there anything in the budget today that ultimately helps people who get up and work hard week in week out or is it just for those who don’t bother? If it’s the latter should we all sod it off and start claiming for everything? Thanks

Another fanbase / club that’s showing incredibly concerning levels of entitlement and arrogance. Apart from meaningless trophies like the Community Shield and Conference League, you would think there would a level of grace after winning the FA Cup. Deservedly to the EFL you go.
Can anyone think of anymore? Yet there’s still people who say he’s doing a good job. #cpfc #CPFC

Think you’ll turn us over by 3 or 4 tonight if you pick a strong-ish team, we are horrendous at the back against transitions. I’d fancy you to win at the weekend as well to be honest if he picks Enzo in the midfield again!

Should we go full strength tonight? All out. Arsenal are gone. One of Chelsea or Liverpool will go tonight. If we knock Man City out it’s looking like an okay run to the final with a bit of luck. 🤔
Enzo 💬 After Villa, we gave five players three days off - Erling, Elliot, Gigio, Joško and Rúben. Go away on holiday. Three days off, go, come back. Full energy.

Harry Howell was the only outfield substitute not to get on the pitch in Leicester’s 3-0 win over Wigan. Feels like this loan is not working, bring him back and place him somewhere he can get game time.

But but but I thought they won 3 trophies just the other day? Very bizarre. Our 5-0 demolition job has totally destroyed them.
Pre-game protest at Selhurst Park vs Liverpool on 08/11/2026 Crystal Palace fans will be protesting outside the Main Stand on 08/11/2026 against the current club strategy, which prioritises tourists instead of regular match-going fans. Please note that the protest is not about results; it’s not about the football. But it is about the way the club has treated its own fans in the last few years. The fans are the backbone of this football club. We do not accept the current direction that the club is taking us, selling our soul in the process. -Protest outside the Main Stand at 13:00 -We will not be taking our seats until 14:05 to show the club what the stadium would be like without the fans. We’re worried about the future of the football club, we want what’s best for Crystal Palace. But right now, there is a massive disconnect between the club and fans. Please read the following pages for the reasons that Crystal Palace fans are protesting. THE FANS ARE THE CLUB #thefansaretheclub ————— Tickets: Prices for a single match ticket can be up to £70. These prices are aimed at tourists who are happy to pay for a membership and match ticket to see a one-off Premier League game. These prices are unaffordable for local fans, particularly young South Londoners. As a result, despite being in our most successful period, our fanbase is not growing, as shown by our Europa League attendances. Crystal Palace officials are sacrificing a long-term strategy for short-term gains. We have also found that since the digitalisation of tickets, the club has been squeezing as much money out of fans as possible. It costs an extra £50 on top of the cost of a Season Ticket for the privilege of sharing your ticket with your mate or a family member. Matchday Experience: The club has changed the experience at the stadium from being a gritty South London club to a sanitised, Americanised experience. We now have loud, generic pop music played all the way through until the kick-off of the game. We have club-funded flag bearers. We have club-funded pyrotechnics. We have club staff walking up and down the stairwells selling pom-poms. We even had the club try and force a new ‘club anthem’ on us. This is not Crystal Palace. We are a fanbase who have historically created our own atmosphere. The club has lost sight of what made us special in the English game, of what our unique selling point was, and the club has destroyed it. Restrictions: The club has deliberately made it difficult for fans to show their support. The fans have previously asked for the music to be turned off prior to key games for the fans to show their support. The club denied these requests, citing ‘regulations’, we now know this to be a lie by the club. The club has also drowned out supporters with music after key wins. At the Shakhtar Donetsk game, the players were left visibly bemused by this decision. The club has unnecessarily restricted banners and displays that have been funded and produced by the Crystal Palace fanbase. Rail Seating: In 2018, the club asked fans to sign a petition to legalise safe standing in England. We obliged. Safe standing has since been legalised and, eight years on, there is no sign of any being implemented in the home areas of our stadium. It has meant that the ground has become stagnant, as we have not been able to grow a sustainable singing section. ———

Palace considering boycotting the Liverpool game apparently (why? 🤷‍♂️). Blimey that 5-0 defeat really has made their heads wobble!

Liverpool’s possession today against Brighton, 35.6%, was their lowest in a home Premier League victory since November 2010 vs Chelsea, 25.3% 😬

Full frontal communism
Brutal chart. France and UK vs. Communist countries at their peak. UK public spending as % of GDP is currently above Romania, Venezuela and China. And France is a lost cause. (HM Treasury/Rand Research)

Interesting. Shows what I felt. We controlled a good period of the game, but were already 2-0 down and therefore it doesn’t really count. We can’t keep giving these types of early leads away as it’s too much to come back from.

If Sunderland win Palace take their 3 trophies into the bottom 3 whilst we remain 3rd. There is some symmetry in that.
