When trans activists tell kids they can be born into the wrong bodies, we shouldn’t be surprised that disabled kids will think they’re transgender 🏳️‍⚧️ As someone who was born prematurely and grew up with various neurological disabilities, I bought into the trans lie as a 12 year old: because of those very disabilities. I already felt that because my body couldn’t do everything that other kids my age could, because I had to wear leg braces and spend my free time in doctor’s offices only for no one to be able to “fix” me; something unnamed about me was fundamentally very wrong. And so I, like any intellectual-leaning pre-teen went searching for the right way to name this condition, which developmentally speaking, I was becoming acutely aware of. Then comes along this explanation of “if you feel like your body is wrong, it means you’re trans and you should’ve been born the opposite sex” and any suffering kid with a lifelong feeling of physical wrong-ness could buy into it. This is especially so because they’re told there’s an easy solution to their pain. And they could be set down a path, just like I was, which ends up making their pre-existing disabilities (be they physical, neurological or social) even worse. There is no justifying that. That is not care. It is evil. Repost if you agree.
