SMITH doesn’t even bother to correct him.
It’s like the Canadian Constitution doesn’t exist.

Mark Carney went from being the high priest of net zero when his GFANZ scheme was being pushed on the world, but when the banks ultimately rejected it he needed to flip. This man pushed for policies to all but keep oil & gas in the ground now he says :
“Oil demand will continue to be significant for decades to come. So the question is, who will emerge as the world's trusted suppliers? It should be us. It must be Canada."
I’m not disagreeing with his decision to want to make a new pipeline, but a guy that acts like this can’t be trusted. His motives are unclear.
In 2021 he wrote the book (Values) this is a paragraph from it:
“To meet the 1.5°C target, more than 80 per cent of current fossil fuel reserves (including three-quarters of coal, half of gas, one-third of oil) would need to stay in the ground, stranding these assets. The equivalent for less than 2°C is about 60 per cent of fossil fuel assets staying in the ground (where they would no longer be assets).”
So as you can see, I’m skeptical about this complete 180 he has pulled. The guy is a scheming snake, he makes decisions & deals behind our backs, there is no doubt something is up.

To look into our hearts and see our intentions are pure. That we wish happiness, positivity, freedom and hope for our fellow man.
Please give us the courage to do and say what others won't. To give us the intelligence to open hearts and minds. And to give us the strength to overcome all obstacles and the wickedness in the hearts of men.

You chaired Alberta Next.
Albertans paid for it.
The answers belong to them.
The panel asked people about a provincial police force, a provincial pension, and immigration. Postmedia asked for the survey results and the written comments.
That was about 600 pages.
Your government refused, and called the public’s own answers “advice to officials.”
The privacy commissioner looked at that and said no.
Survey results are what people said. They are not advice. Releasing them does not give away a decision you had not made.
The commissioner set a deadline of October 24, 2025.
On October 23 your department wrote back that it would not redo the requests, and that the refusal stood.
This is the same move as the Fair Deal Panel.
The report was published.
The paper behind it came back with 138 pages blacked out.
I know. I was the one requesting it.
Strip the names. Leave out phone numbers and emails.
Release the counts, the written answers, and the town-hall record fpr Alberta Next.
If the numbers are good for your case, they will show it.
If they are not, Albertans still paid to be asked.
Isn't it time to get transparency in our government?

Because that's exactly the kind of question we should be discussing.
The October 19 vote does not itself make Alberta independent. Option 2 calls for the government to commence the constitutional legal process required to hold a later binding referendum on separation. Elections Alberta

David Eby announced today that he's promising cuts to the gas tax if he wins the election.
For the record, he has a majority government, and could've implemented this last week if he wanted to.
He didn't do that because he's lying, just like he lied about the tax cuts in this video that he never implemented.
