I truthfully donโt know how much leverage Jalen Hurts has in this situation.
The Eagles medical staff shouldโve never let him play, that is something that cannot be argued.
In the same breath, Iโm sure he was made aware of the potential dangers of playing in that game and Iโm sure he wanted to push through it given his competitive nature.
Itโs hard to speculate exactly what can be done legally without knowing the conversations that were had before the game, but assuming Jalen willingly stepped foot onto that field, I feel like he lost a lot of leverage and I donโt think Jalenโs team is doing him favors by exposing what he went through 36 hours before the game.
I donโt think that stops the NFL from coming down on the Eagles organization. I wouldnโt be surprised if thereโs some sort of heavy punishment for this debacle.

The doctors told him that he was not allowed to sleep because the blood clots made it unsafe so he was kept up all night and allowed to play a National Football League game in the afternoon? How does this make any sense?
Jalen Hurts was in the hospital the night before the Eagles game in London and did not sleep, per doctors orders. He was in the hospital in the middle of the night and played through all of that. All they knew at that time was that he had a superficial small blood clot.

#Eagles QB Jalen Hurts, who is out for the season after several blood clots were revealed in his lungs, has been undergoing tests for days.
Before the London game, Hurts was in the hospital until 4 am and did not sleep because sleep was a risk. He played without having slept.
