Let me strip away the Borgspeak and translate this into language everyone can understand:
"In many cultures in the world, including mine, a homosexual male is so offensive to society's sensibilities that our cultures have developed a *pretty homophobic* workaround for us, giving us culture-specific descriptors that all roughly translate as something like "man-as-woman" or "womanly man". You may have heard this referred to as "third gender".
Working on society-wide acceptance of homosexuality would never fly in our cultures. So we fight to maintain this ancient workaround system. We are still rejected by society, but not as much as if we were just going around as gay men.
And here's why international governments and philanthropists care about us: we are extremely susceptible to HIV infection, because we almost invariably work as prostitutes, and our customers are invariably straight married men who fetishise us, so our sexual networks spread to the general population.
Therefore, in order to reach us as an epidemiological population for international AIDS funding, we have collectively adopted the foreign label "transgender" because it helps us organise ourselves internationally and, importantly, this universalising label makes it easier for us to receive international support.
When we say that the "sex binary is a colonial import", what we actually mean is that when colonisers arrived on our shores, they outlawed sodomy (NDLR: Thailand was never colonised).
This meant that our third-gender identities were outlawed by foreign invaders, because at the end of the day, all we really are is gay men. So now we are adopting trendy "decolonial" messaging because it will help us get support from Western white-paper writers and academics, who will use this fashionable decolonial *lens* to help us reinforce this ancient homophobia. Then we can present our cultural identities as exotic, gender-bending and above all, decolonised -- and we all know that Western lefties love that shit.
We all secretly know that foreign support is largely predicated on us all practicing safer sex, so that international AIDS goals can be achieved, but we keep the "human rights" gloss because that's less messy and clinical and easier to sell to the normies.
Ultimately, it's all a kind of neocolonialism, ironically.
The genius ingredient: pairing HIV/AIDS treatment with "gender affirming care" brings all the boys to the clinic. So when I say that my friend, a "ladyboy", lost access to gender affirming care when Trump pulled the plug on USAID funding to my trans NGO, what I'm really saying is that my ladyboy friend, who, again, is just a gay lad with a pair of tits his customers like, has lost his access to HIV/AIDS care."

Very much so. Jim Crow was a system for oppressing and dehumanizing an entire race of people because of their race. Excluding African-Americans from education, employment and housing opportunities meant AAs could not achieve what whites could achieve. Beyond that it was a brutal system of oppression. Bathrooms were a small part of it. Segregating bathrooms by race served the same purpose as segregating everything else by race - schools, water fountains, public pools, transportation, public accommodations, etc. It sent the message that AAs were not worthy of sharing space with whites and that whites did not want to be around them. Those are just the broad strokes of the Jim Crow. It was an inhuman institution that today is classified as an atrocity. Segregating spaces by sex for the purpose of safety and dignity is not done to dehumanize anyone. The practice has been around since before Jim Crow. It was only compared to Jim Crow when white transactivists started using that as a talking point.

The new habit seems to be to peel off any ideological nonsense out of proposals by asking for split votes. Very quietly, a page has been turned. What does it mean in practice? Unfortunately, not a lot. Most of the damaging laws and court case precedents are now in place across Europe (with the exceptions of countries in the East).
The only way back to reality is to repeal, repeal, repeal, and that would take some serious political bravery.”

Well said @CNolanOffaly and thank you for persisting with seeking answers from a Government agency that wants to dodge and weave and hide behind legalese, rather than address male lactation directly and robustly and reassure the public that it is moving to ensure this practice is not allowed to happen.
Men cant’t breastfeed. Protect babies.
Carol Nolan TD said she was “stunned and saddened” by the HSE's response to concerns she raised surrounding a highly controversial conference which was to feature a speaker who had written about men lactating for sexual gratification.

Surrogacy is a grotesque elite practice, in which a rich woman pays a poor woman to carry a baby. The pregnancy is much more risky as it’s not the mother’s egg…. However the worst aspect is creating a baby who bonds with its mother in utero and then is ripped apart from the primal bond at birth.
No adult involved in the industry puts the baby first.

Minister Carroll MacNeill, clarity is needed on the limits of the LGBTIQ+ Inclusion Strategy 2024–2028 and the Gender Recognition Act 2015 as they pertain to Ireland’s child protection laws and the proactive safeguarding of babies.
Men cannot breastfeed. It is a practice that is harmful to babies in several ways.
You do not wait for a sexual paraphilia admission to keep a child off a male adult’s nipples and out of his fetish. You ban the practice because the opportunity is the harm pattern: access, plus opacity, plus the cover of ‘feeding & inclusion’, plus a culture that discourages dissent and platforms the practice under inclusivity rhetoric.
Apart from kink and fetish, where is the evidence-based harm assessment re feeding a baby an untested, drug-induced exudate, or withholding adequate milk so a man can perform feeding?
Evidence to show no harm doesn't exist.
Children First 2015 requires a report where there is harm: assault, ill-treatment or neglect that seriously affects health development or welfare, or sexual abuse. The 2017 Sexual Offences Act criminalises sexual activity in the presence of a child for gratification.
-Does a Gender recognition Cert, or the National LGBTIQ+ Inclusion Strategy II 2024-2028 change a mandated person’s duty to report an infant being fed via the nipple by a male?
-When a mandated lactation practitioner sees a male feeding an infant from his nipple, which instruments does she consider? The Gender Recognition Act 2015 + National LGBTIQ+ Inclusion Strategy II 2024–2028, or Children First 2015 and the Sexual Offences Act 2017?
-If a mandated practitioner makes a report to Tusla will the Minister and the HSE treat that as compliance with Children First, or leave her exposed to a discrimination complaint and local discipline?
Exactly how is mandated reporting supposed to operate in a professional culture that platforms this practice in continuing education (which is then defended by the HSE), and when many fellow IBLCLs see no issue? (On the ALCI website approx 66 lactation consultants in private practice include in their services LGBTQI+ lactation support, the acronym includes men).
Inclusivity is written into HSE language, equality training, and public-sector generally, and now into a whole-of-government LGBTIQ+ Inclusion Strategy whose health pillar includes gender healthcare and an “inclusive” care environment.
A mandated lactation consultant who reports a trans-identified man due to concerns for the baby he is feeding can reasonably expect unspoken pressure to not ‘target a queer parent’, a discrimination claim, immediate social and professional consequences, and the label bigot.
The ALCI conference has revealed the current professional lactation landscape in Ireland, time for clear policy and law from Government that centres the protection of babies and makes it clear that inclusivity has limits, and one of them is that men can’t breastfeed, full stop.

The European Parliament's long-awaited Women's Health Resolution now includes "gender-diverse people."
Billy Kelleher @BillyKelleherEU sold it as fixing the historic male default in medicine and research for women, see his article linked below, all sex, no gender.
The text now opens that category to gender identity, not specifically the female sex, which was the entire point of the resolution.
Athena Forum notes:
“While the resolution repeatedly acknowledges women as a sex and recognises crucial differences between the sexes, it simultaneously introduces an entirely different vocabulary, referring to “gender-diverse people”, the “menstruating population” and “pregnant and breastfeeding individuals”, while lamenting the lack of “non-binary people” in clinical trials. It repeatedly overlays sex with gender identity, including in its claim that obstetric and gynaecological violence disproportionately affects persons who identify as transgender. Most disturbingly, it treats what it refers to as “transition-related healthcare” as analogous to women’s reproductive healthcare”

“Amendments seeking greater terminological clarity and a separation of women’s health from transgender issues did not survive the process.
