You might think tokens can't be mined with Proof of Work, but PHOTON is a CashToken on the Bitcoin Cash network that can be mined with a GPU ⛏️
The basic idea is that BCH covenants can enforce the mining rules and release token rewards when valid work is found.

Satoshi described a system where nodes don't need to store data they don't need to verify. BCMR applies that logic to token metadata: the $BCH chain stores balances and spending conditions. Sustained demand makes frequent base-layer use expensive by design so the chain stays decentralized and censorship-resistant. That is an engineering tradeoff favoring high-value settlement; volume shifts to layers matched to different properties. Economic allocation is not a class hierarchy.

Your wallet doesn't contain coins.
It contains the keys that let you spend outputs recorded on the Bitcoin blockchain.
The Bitcoin network doesn't move physical coins from Alice's wallet to Bob's wallet.
It updates the ledger.
That's why losing your phone doesn't destroy your Bitcoin.
And why someone can steal your Bitcoin without ever touching your device.
They don't need the coins.
They need the key.
This is one of the strangest things about Bitcoin.
The asset isn't in your wallet.
