kaspa is an open network for money and apps, secured by proof of work.
you can transact without needing anyone’s approval. devs can build assets and contracts with rules the network itself enforces.
miners compete to produce blocks through computing power and electricity, not the size of their KAS wallet.
an attacker trying to undo a confirmed transaction has to compete against the combined mining power of the entire honest network while it keeps mining. even then, they can’t make nodes accept transactions that break the rules.
kaspa includes and orders blocks mined in parallel, so miners blocks aren’t discarded simply for losing a race. those frequent blocks let the network reach agreement in seconds while keeping bitcoin’s proof-of-work security principles.
kaspa calls this real-time decentralization.

JP Morgan recently asked corporate treasurers across 26 countries and 60+ industries what they want most from tokenisation. Nearly 40% said the same thing: money that settles instantly, any time, no cutoff windows.

The part I like here isn’t just the breakout.
More than 95% of the supply has already been mined, there was no premine or VC allocation, and KAS is still sitting around a $1.1B market cap.
That’s why I’m not too concerned about every pullback.
The difficult part in moves like this is rarely finding the asset. It’s holding through the corrections while the bigger structure keeps improving.
As long as that continues, I’d rather focus on where the market could be months from now than what one candle does today.

Once the BSL is clearly taken, this is the healthiest correction I’d want to see.
Price could keep pushing higher and eventually use that same liquidity level as support.
But if I had to map out the cleaner path from here, it would look much closer to what’s drawn on the chart.

Why does Ethereum's whitepaper name the mind behind Kaspa?
Yonatan Sompolinsky (@hashdag) and Aviv Zohar (@Avivz78) introduced GHOST in December 2013. It counts stale blocks, valid blocks that lose the race onto the main chain, toward security instead of wasting them.
The Ethereum whitepaper credits both men by name. @ethereum ran only a simplified version, and a later note added to the paper says it never fully applied GHOST.
Sompolinsky pushed the idea further with GHOSTDAG, co-written with Shai Wyborski and Zohar. It lets parallel blocks coexist and orders them all, discarding none.
GHOSTDAG powers #Kaspa (kaspa:native), which launched on November 7, 2021.
