BSVers are returning!
I’ve been away from #BSV for a while. After Craig’s court case, I stepped back, although I never deleted the work I had done. I simply moved on and gave away much of my access and involvement.
I’m now finding my way back in a different capacity.
I’m an artist, filmmaker, musician and writer. I’ve been teaching myself AI filmmaking, making my own films and music, writing scripts, winning awards and working with AI creative tools. I’ve also joined Repped, an AI artist-management and representation platform, and I’m interested in how BSV and AI can provide genuinely useful infrastructure for artists and creators.
So I’d like to ask the people here:
Which platforms and applications are still active, reliable and worth using today for artists, filmmakers, musicians and independent creators?
I’m particularly interested in tools that are:
• genuinely active rather than abandoned
• easy to use
• affordable or accessible to independent artists
• useful for film, music, visual art or creative intellectual property
• practical rather than overly complicated
• sustainable enough to build on
• ideally using BSV in a way that genuinely benefits the creator
The platforms I already know and am happy to put on the list are:

I’m deliberately asking the community because I don’t have time to investigate every application myself. I’d rather hear from people who are
actually using these platforms.
If you use something that you consider solid, healthy, easy to implement and genuinely useful for creatives, please recommend it and explain what you use it for.
I’m particularly interested in hearing from artists, filmmakers, musicians, writers and developers working with creatives.
I’m not looking to recreate what I was doing before. I’m exploring how I can bring the useful parts of BSV into the creative work I’m doing now — music, art, film and AI.

The CLARITY Act failed to clear its procedural hurdle in the US Senate. It’s a serious missed opportunity to bring order to the chaos that has long plagued this sector. It also doesn’t bode well for other pressing technology issues requiring bipartisan support, like regulating AI.
CLARITY might get another shot in the next Congress, but even if it doesn’t, progress towards a proper blockchain regulatory solution in the US won’t stop. Both the Commodity Futures Trading Commission and Securities and Exchange Commission are taking steps to modernize their respective rules re digital assets and have signaled their willingness to accelerate this process if CLARITY failed to advance.
These regulatory revisions can be undone by future administrations far easier than legislation approved by Congress, but history shows it’s hard to make major reversals once the ‘boots on the ground’ reality has changed. And the times, they are-a-changin’.
It’s my hope that regulation will help shift blockchain’s focus away from get-rich-quick schemes and the pursuit of outsized ‘yield’ generated by methods best left unsaid. It’s also my hope that BSV blockchain technology will be seen as a key beneficiary of this transition.
From the start, BSV focused on working with regulators, not dodging them. BSV was also unlike most other blockchains due to its focus on utility, not speculation. And BSV always kept its eye on the horizon, building rails capable of handling transaction volume far beyond the pedestrian goals of the present.
There isn’t a network out there that can compete with BSV in terms of bandwidth or transaction fees, and its stable protocol ensures that what developers build today will continue to function on the same foundation tomorrow. With regulators finally calling time on the Wild West era, it’s time for the good guys in the white Stetsons to saddle up and ride.
