Secretary Lew is correct. All parties must commit to the 20-Point Plan. It is the only chance to peacefully disarm Hamas, empower a new technocratic government in Gaza, reconstruct lives and livelihoods, and provide real and lasting security for Israel.

Fantastic turnout for today’s @BoardOfPeace session on Gaza. One year ago: hostages in tunnels and fighting raging between IDF and Hamas. Now we have a UN-backed coalition of countries focused on ridding Gaza of terrorists and rebuilding.

As President Trump stated, extraordinary progress has been made in just one year: a ceasefire that ended large-scale war; the return of all living hostages and the remains of the deceased; historic increases in humanitarian aid and improved nutrition across Gaza; and a roadmap to demilitarize, deradicalize, and rebuild Gaza, which will enable a future of peace and prosperity for Palestinians, and lasting security for the people of Israel. Our mission is hard, and the work ahead will not be easy. But with the strong support of our international partners, including the UAE, the EU, and others, we are confident that we can succeed and turn the plan’s vision into reality.

The Board of Peace deeply appreciates the growing support of governments, international organizations, and partners for President Trump’s Comprehensive Plan to End the Gaza Conflict and the Roadmap for its implementation. As world leaders gather in New York for the UN General Assembly, it is important to reaffirm our shared objectives: a demilitarized and deradicalized Gaza; immediate and sustained humanitarian assistance, recovery, and reconstruction for the people of Gaza; effective Palestinian civilian and security administration; and lasting security for Palestinians and Israelis. Nearly one year ago, President Trump’s Plan set in motion a new path for Gaza. It secured the release and return of all Israeli hostages and brought regional and international leaders together at the Gaza Peace Summit in Sharm El-Sheikh. Those milestones paved the way for UN Security Council Resolution 2803, the establishment of the Board of Peace, the formation of the National Committee for the Administration of Gaza, and preparations for the deployment of the International Stabilization Force. On July 30, agreement was reached with Hamas on a detailed Roadmap for implementing the next stages of the ceasefire. It provides a practical and internationally supported path toward demilitarization and deradicalization, Israeli withdrawal, effective Palestinian civilian and security administration, and reconstruction. The political choice is now clear. All parties must fulfil their commitments and refrain from actions that could undermine the ceasefire or return Gaza to conflict. International partners must turn political support into practical commitments. The Board of Peace & @UN + @UNOCHA are working in close partnership to deliver for the people of Gaza. Yesterday alone, more than 350,000 liters of fuel & hundreds of pallets of medical and humanitarian supplies entered Gaza, alongside continued medical evacuations and preparations for winter. At a ceremony in Pristina today, representatives of the Republic of Kosovo, the Board of Peace & the International Stabilization Force signed the Participating Country Agreement for the inclusion of Kosovo in the ISF. Kosovo will provide critical support for the mission of advancing President Trump’s 20-Point Peace Plan in Gaza.

Aryeh Lightstone is an integral leader of the Board of Peace and a US diplomat recognized across the region for his many accomplishments. Any suggestion to the contrary is completely baseless. He has the full confidence of the Board and its leadership. Rather than fabricate internal division, Haaretz should focus its reporting on the historic results this team has delivered to date. Any attempts to sow dissent will not distract us from our mission.

This claim is entirely fabricated. And not backed by a shred of evidence (because there is none). Tony has been a leader in the entire effort to end the war in Gaza, secure the release of hostages, enable historic aid influxes, and seal an agreement for Hamas to relinquish its weapons and hand over authority to a new technocratic government. These may seem “abstract” to some people far away. But they are very real results for the people of Gaza and Israel, unlike this entire thread based on a conversation that never occurred and a trip that never occurred.
