Wherever you are in the world, I would like to wish all Royal Marines, past and present, a very happy 362nd Birthday! Proud of our heritage, united by our Commando spirit, and bound by a brotherhood that knows no borders. Once a Royal Marine, always a Royal Marine.
More woke nonsense- office lunch party with Christmas crackers and guess what, the crackers have had the snap, or ‘bang’ removed - I mean what is the point. Is nothing safe from these woke warriors?
Ryder the horse was forced to work in scathing heat to pull rich tourists around in Central Park. He collapsed, and the police/workers responded by yanking his collar and yelling at him to get back up. (Make sure to turn on sound.)
Partly due to public outcry over stories like Ryder's, every NYC mayor in recent history has promised to ban this vile business.
Every one has also broken that promise.
Zohran is going to be the next mayor, and he, too, has promised to ban horse carriages. For Ryder, let's make sure he keeps his promise. (H/t @nyclass for this video and their inspiring work to defend horses)
For every retweet of this post, I will donate £1 to the @VC_and_GC_Assoc up to £50,000.
Time is running out following @I_W_M’s decision to close the Lord Ashcroft Gallery.
Visit while you still can, to honour the bravery of those who risked so much to protect our great nation.
We just won Best Live Event at The Royal Society Television Award for our Vigil from our Bayeux War Cemetery during #DDay80 last year! Huge thanks to everyone who made this possible. But most of all to the Fallen. This was for you.

Eight years on from the Westminster Bridge terror attack, we remember the five people who lost their lives, including PC Keith Palmer and the many who were injured.
If you or someone you know has been affected by terrorism, support is available 👉 victimsofterrorism.campaign.…
Today is the 8th anniversary of the attack on Westminster.
We remember all those killed and injured on that day, and pay our respects to the memory of PC Keith Palmer GM, who died protecting Parliament.
Unarmed, he intervened to stop Khalid Masood, a knife-wielding terrorist, from gaining access the Palace of Westminster.
PC Palmer was fatally wounded in the attack.
He was posthumously awarded the George Medal for bravery.
PC Palmer had worked for the Metropolitan Police for 16 years, and joined the Parliamentary and Diplomatic Protection Group in April 2016.
All of us who were in parliament on that dreadful day will never forget it.
I have covered presidential politics for 40 years. This was the most juvenile display by a President and Vice President I have ever seen. Other presidents treated their enemies with more respect. This is a low point and a dark day for the US.
Margaret Thatcher got the measure of Putin in 2000, following the Kursk submarine disaster
Poland & Thatcher, amongst others, knew that Russia's leaders never change
Whether Tsar, Secretary General or President, their callous disregard for Russian lives remains a constant - as does their insatiable desire to dominate and conquer their neighbours.
