Not many people know that @asjwebley held a senior position for a decade at Hargreaves Lansdown - the UK's largest investment and savings platform, before starting @smarterwebuk I took a large position shortly after IPO when I looked him up on Linkedin and read this detail. It said to me that Andrew isn't just an opportunistic hedge fund exec, he understands the actual mechanics of how people save and invest, tax wrappers, pensions, IPOs, fund raising, product design, and the regulatory constraints. This is rare. Combine it with his honesty and integrity and to me it = unicorn CEO. Andrew barely ever mentions this detail, but I think it is very important for potential investors to know. TD Cowen have updated their PT to 73 GBp from 64 GBp following SWC's announcement of a proposed perpetual preferred-share offering. They currently have a PT of $32 for Strive, I'd expect MORE 👀

Andrew and the whole SWC Team have clearly been all-out hard at work these past months, building the infrastructure for the launch of what we are required to call the ‘Possible IPO’ of MORE pref shares. For now, we can take a moment to draw breath from the excitement of yesterday’s RNS announcement, and as we await the Prospectus to be approved and released well in advance of the proxy vote date (24th) for the General Meeting (28th Sept). But there is much that we can already learn now about Smarter Web’s plan here in advance. And as further context on the awaited Prospectus… The last time that SWC achieved an IPO (for the uplisting of the ordinary shares to the Main Market of the LSE), the intention was announced via RNS on Monday 12th Jan. The prospectus - which needed to be approved by the FCA before it could be published - followed just a few days later on Friday 16th Jan. For MORE, the i’s will already have been dotted, and the t’s will have been crossed. In short, we do not have to wait long now to see the full glossy colour (and launch price / % rate) of what is to come! I cannot wait. You?

Seeing other BTCTC go up in price and genuinely comfortable being sat with my SWC shares 😊 Here for the journey 💪 🇬🇧

Building conviction is hard. I spent about two hours with ChatGPT last night and even upgraded my subscription for the deeper analysis — which I highly recommend. Obviously, there are a lot of assumptions involved, particularly around Bitcoin’s performance and the team’s execution, but the upshot was pretty clear: SWC has the biggest asymmetry right now. Even using relatively conservative assumptions, the numbers over the next decade are pretty mind-blowing. Looking forward to the Q&A shortly.

It’s crazy to me that the UK put up all these barriers to “protect” people from bitcoin yet we’ve got Open AI announcing they’re on the cusp of AGI by the end of this year and seemingly no protection at all. Madness.
