Heavenly Father, Jehovah Rapha, the God who heals, We come before You this day for Neria Dov ben Chana Neria Leiter son of Ambassador Yechiel and Chana Leiter, an IDF reservist who was critically wounded in a car-ramming terror attack at the Maccabim checkpoint on Route 443 in the West Bank. Lord, he is at Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem, fighting for his life. Doctors are working. He was unconscious. He needs a miracle. His father has asked the people of Israel and all who will stand with them to pray. We answer that call. You are the God who raised the dead, who opened blind eyes, who made the lame walk, who bound up the brokenhearted. You said, “I am the LORD that healeth thee.” We ask You now: stretch forth Your hand over Neria Dov ben Chana. Restore his body. Protect his brain and his breath. Give the surgeons and nurses at Shaare Zedek supernatural wisdom, steady hands, and favor. Let every scan, every intervention, every hour of ventilation serve life and not death. This family has already paid a terrible price. Their eldest son, Major Moshe Yedidya Leiter physician, officer, father of six fell in Gaza in November 2023. Neria kept serving anyway. Hundreds of reserve days after October 7. He chose life when others chose death. Honor that courage, Lord. Do not let this family bury another son. Comfort Yechiel and Chana. Strengthen their other children. Surround the ambassador as he travels home. Let Your presence fill that hospital room. We pray Psalm 30 over him: “O LORD my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me. O LORD, thou hast brought up my soul from the grave: thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.” We pray Psalm 91 over him and over every soldier standing watch: “He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust… A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.” We pray Psalm 121 over the land: “He that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.” Father, those who seek to uproot Your people from the land You gave them will not prevail. You keep covenant. You keep Israel. You keep this young man. We ask for a complete recovery body, mind, and spirit so that Neria Dov ben Chana walks out of that hospital, returns to his family, and lives. Let the testimony be that the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob still works miracles. In the mighty name of Yeshua HaMashiach, Jesus the Messiah, the Lion of Judah, Amen.
