After last night’s attack, a fire was reported at an industrial site in Shebekino, Belgorod region. The Operational Headquarters confirmed that one of the enterprises caught fire this morning. Just another peaceful morning in Shebekino.

Sir Ken Adam, one of a very few known German fighter pilots in Britain's RAF during WW2, once shared his wartime experiences with this reflection: "Germans often ask me did I feel any qualms when I attacked German soldiers during the war. Obviously, we didn’t attack any civilians. But having said that, even if I had been eye to eye with it, I decided that we had to win the war and we had to get rid of Hitler and the Nazis." Sir Ken Adam was one of approximately 10,000 German and Austrian Jewish refugees who fought for Britain during the Second World War.

🇺🇦 Valentyna Pushych was a mother and a woman who had built a career in international transport. In 2016, she made a life-changing decision. Valia left her civilian job and joined the Ukrainian Armed Forces as a combat medic with the 72nd Separate Mechanised Brigade. She treated the wounded, evacuated injured soldiers under fire, and risked her own life to bring others back from the edge of death. Over the years, she saved hundreds of Ukrainian defenders. On February 27, 2022, near Brovary in the Kyiv region, Valentyna was rushing to evacuate a wounded Ukrainian defender when the vehicle she was travelling in came under attack. She and the driver were killed💔. Those who knew her remember a woman whose kindness and courage brought light into the darkest moments. As her friend said: “Valia lit up people’s lives, she was a true warrior of light.” This brave servicewoman was posthumously awarded the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytskyi, 3rd Class, in recognition of her service and sacrifice. She gave years of her life to saving others. Even in the face of war, she chose compassion, courage, and humanity. Rest in peace, heroine 🫡🇺🇦
